CHARLOTTE BOBCATS + 11 (-120) - - - I understand and am aware of the pure dominance of the Orlando Magic this season. They are one team that have consistently blown out competition left right and center. I however think they are a very unlucky bunch to have drawn the Charlotte Bobcats in the playoffs. Not only do the Cats have the bench dance squad in the NBA :) They also have what is in my opinion the most "versatile" 10 man rotation in the East. They have a lot of weapons and have enough depth and size to make this a series. Many are doubting the Cats or thinking that vegas is begging for Cats action. I on the other hand think it is a combination of underestimating the Cats and not realizing that the Magic do have their flaws. No NBA team is perfect. Charlotte has the size to cause Dwight some contention. Theo Ratliff is a solid veteran who will evoke a defensive presence down low. Alongside with Tyson Chandler and Nazzy Mohamed, those three big men do have the ability to "hack-a-man"....Superman that is. If Larry Brown implements that philosophy I think the Cats stand a chance in this series. Double teaming Dwight should not be an option due to the array of shooters on Orlando. Playing him one-on-one is key and Charlotte has the size to do just that. If Dwight still over-powers them on the offensive end, then sending Dwight to the stripe consistently should be the game plan. Tyrus Thomas is yet another big man Charlotte has at its disposal. If Lewis is on him he will not be able to guard him. Marcin Gortat and Brandon Bass do not get the time they deserve and I do not think that will change in the playoffs. Instead Ryan Anderson will get run and both Boris Diaw and Tyrus can handle him and Lewis at the 4. Key matchups in this series is back-court play. I really think that Raymon Felton and Captain Jack will out-play Nelson and Wince Farter. I understand everyone says that if Vince wants to step it up he can....but he really can't. Jackson will blanket him, Jack has immense playoff experience and will lead this team in many ways. Gerald Wallace is a beast and a half and Matt Barnes does not have the size or girth to handle the monster that is "Crash" I think G-Wall will step up his intensity in the playoffs like never seen before. No one on Orlando's roster can handle him if he plays with intensity offensively. D.J, Hughes and Graham are the offensive factors off the bench for Charlotte. Although suspect, I do think they have the ability to match the offensive production of guys like Pietrus, Redick and Williams. This is not going to be as easy a series as most think. The Cats are well-coached, well-equipped and exited as hell to be in the playoffs. They will come out to play tonight and in this series. 4 UNITS MICHAEL "I BET ON BASKETBALL" JORDAN - - -

The Magic didn't blow the Bobcats out all year. Why they almost did today I have no idea. Howard wasn't scoring, Barnes gave the team absolutely nothing, Carter went like 3-18. Thats why. But Charlotte was the wise play. Larry Brown is their coach so DEFENSE is the key and best believe they will adjust for game 2. No lackadasical 1st half from them again. It will be Charlotte in 6 or Orlando in 7. You heard it here 1st.

Hey
fellas, thanks a lot for all the posts and well wishes. Really
appreciate those who wished me success and those genuine posts
regarding by business and well being were really nice of you guys,
sorry I didn't respond directly but trust me I know who you are and
greatly appreciate it. I have decided to keep this thread open for the
first round. I know that is really hypocritical considering the fact
that I ripped people who are doing that in the playoffs simply to gain
attention and views. I however promise that is not the case with me,
even if I had lost all my games I would decide to keep this thread
going for at least the first round. The reasons for this are due to
the fact that I have a lot of bets carrying over to the next day. I
enjoy teasers in the playoffs especially and sometimes I gotta combine
days in order to gain more options. Another reason is it would be a
lot easier for individuals to take a look at my thoughts and analysis
for the prior games and compare them. Easy access to agree or disagree
with game 1/2 thoughts etc. You can easily compare my thoughts and
decide for yourself. I also realize I am going to get a lot of slack
for buying points today, not going to make a habit of it. I understand
I have to go 2-0 today to profit or I will be eating that juice. Don't
feel it is imperative to do so, I just don't mind laying some of my
profits thus far as added insurance today. As always guys, wishing you
the best of luck no matter what side you are on. Peace out - - - MAK
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS - 9.0 (-130) - - - I think the Bulls are
very lucky to have not got blown out the building in Ohio. The Cavs
annihilated them to start the game then released their foot from the
throttle. If the Cavs are to obtain a decent lead tonight, I doubt
they allow themselves to lose focus as they did in game 1. Tonight I
suspect foul trouble to be the ultimate demise of the Bulls. I can
foresee Joakim Noah getting into instant foul trouble. If they feed
Shaq down low who by the way looks in prime condition, Noah will pick
up two early ones forcing Brad Miller to man the middle. The sad thing
is Noah and Miller are really the only size the Bulls have. If Kirk
Hinrich is your leading rebounder in game one, you know you have a
serious problem. This so-called leading rebounding team is smaller then
then Smurfs Christmas Special. They got pounded on the glass 50-38.
They also got out-assisted 27-19 and out-blocked 12-4. Varejao made
Noah look like nothing, Antawn absolutely owned Taj Gibson and this
Cavs team is so stacked that Big Z and Hickson hardly saw any court
time. Cavs are using a 7 man rotation with West and Varejao which
could be a positive aspect in this series vs a short Bulls bench. In
my opinion the key to the Cavs covering this game comes down to Mo
Williams, LBJ and the 3 point shot. First Mo played an amazing game.
The game of a true point guard. He had 10 assists and was a solid 8-14
from the field. LBJ was 9-19 and didn't really have a "great"
all-around game, he will improve on the 24, 5 and 6 line tonight. The
3 point shot was what allowed the Bulls to stay relatively close. Cavs
went a horrid 6-23 from beyond the arc. Parker, Tawn and West went
1-13, and I do not suspect a duplicate effort in that aspect tonight. During the regular season, after a win at home the Cavs were 28-3 and a stellar 14-1 after a 10+ point win. I see no way the Cavs lose this game and do believe they outscore the Bulls by 10+ again. The Cavaliers head back to the windy city with a decisive 2-0 series lead. King drops 30+ tonight. 4 UNITS "ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING" - - -
DENVER NUGGETS - 5.0 (-135) - - - Who the hell can stop Mello? He had the best showing of any player in the playoffs thus far (maybe Dirk had just as good a performance last night) It was almost comical watching C.J Miles, Wesley Mathews and even Kyle Korver trying to guard this dude. The double team methods were a joke and didn't work, forcing him off-hand didn't work. Keeping him on the perimeter didn't work. This guy just scorched the Jazz in every aspect of the game. Mello could easily go for 40 once again. 18-25 from the field with only 4 free-throw attempts. He bamboozled them. Funny thing is even though I do not like J.R Smith, no one can really hold him either. He could easily go off for 30+ in any one of these games. Korver looked like a little kid guarding him. Not quick enough at all. Truth is without AK47, the Jazz do not have any legitimate defenders for the 2 guard or 3 man. Now with Okur gonzo it makes this bench even more scarce. Milsap and Boozer will play well today, I do not doubt that. But 3 is better then 2 and Nene, Martin & Chris Anderson will get err done tonight. Nene was a solid 7-10 with 6 boards. Kenyon was a beast down low against Booz out-rebounding him 12-8. The Birdman played a perfect game in my opinion, did what he is meant to do. 0-0 from the field with 6 boards and 2 blocks off the bench, not to mention changing an array of shots at the rim. Not a statistic, but a very important aspect to the game. He is the type of player you need coming of the pine in the playoffs. The fact of the matter is Milsap, Korver, Williams and Boozer all had stellar offensive games, yet the Jazz men still got spanked by 13. There is just nothing they can do vs the Nuggets in this series. It is already over in my mind. Especially now with Okur down. Ronnie Price and Kyle Korver are the Utah bench. While J.R Smith, Ty Lawson and Birdman are the Nugs bench. If the starting 5 of the Nugs can continue to play the consistent stellar ball they did in game 1, this series will be over before you can finish a McDonalds Chicken Nugget. Denver heads back to Salt Lake City Utah with a 2-0 lead and all the confidence they need to finish them early. 4 UNITS ARRON "DOUBLE A" AFFLALO - - - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MAK'S TEASERS

Fair question bud. My fault, I guess I should let guys know my combined teasers the day before. To avoid this in the future I have included my combined teasers for today and tomorrow below and will continue to do so, just to ensure newbie douche-bags like yourself who have only been on covers for a month don't think I am trying to "keep up my winnings"....how exactly would I do that anyways? Considering I never post my unit profits, never have, never will. Those who know me, know I don't roll like that. I post my thoughts and my exact plays, I have no reason to lie to covers brothers. I didn't know I couldn't ask you a question based on my join date since that means so much. The only reason I am in your thread is because I realize you know much more about betting basketball than I do and I am here trying to learn. I followed you all last year and this year and just never created a handle. Also, I said keep up with your winnings so that you could go back and look at what you bet on a hard copy here at covers. Never said you were trying to boost up your winnings or tell people how much you had won because like you said you have never done that. I appreciate you posting your combined teasers for today and tomorrow and I hope you continue to do that if possible, if not I understand and just to let you know I was not questioning you as I realize you are busy overseas.

I misunderstood him completely, it was my bad. I also included 3 winners that I didn't even post. Why no slack regarding those? Think about why I would so blatantly do that? I don't really give two fucks about posting winners and not losers, and obviously it is quite easy to see that I was on the Cavs so it shouldn't be to difficult to comprehend I hit that teaser. I only add the plays to the thread to assist those who follow to see what my pattern of betting is.
