First off the Miami
Heat vs Boston Celtics. Should be a
great game. Road rage will prevail in a
hostile arena. Last year in the playoffs
the Heat got their asses handed to em in game one in Atlanta. D Wade struck back in game two with a
magnificent game propelling Miami to a road victory. Although I am not willing to lay dollars on a
Heat victory, I do think they have a shot with no KG. To many of you no KG means nothing. I hear rumblings that Big Baby can handle
it...ok then. Big Baby is not KG. He has no shot blocking capability and is not
the defensive presence that Kevin Garnett is.
Baby can board and box out...that is it.
I suspect him getting into easy foul trouble as Beasley has promised to
take a more aggressive approach to game to.
He has guaranteed to take it to the hole and that means trouble for a
slower Glen Davis. Beasley was good on
the glass grabbing 8 boards last game so I don’t suspect him to get man-handled
as most of you do. No KG also means no
Baby off the bench. That allows Udonis
Haslem so more space to do what he does best which is rebound the
basketball. He tore it up in the final
stretch of the regular season grabbing 10 boards a game in the Heat winning
streak. He was limited to a short stint
in game 1 due to foul trouble. He will
be big in game 2. Jermaine O’neal war
terrible in game 1. 3-14 I believe? He was met at the rim by Perk each time but
KG’s presence was also creating him to miss shots he would usually make. After that little scuffle with Glen Davis in
game one I suspect their to be some tenacious battles down low, most of which
J.O can win if he plays the way he is capable of playing. Q-Rich is a drama queen, he loves being in
the lime-light and he will be in front of a pissed off ruckas crown at the
Garden. Look for Q to jack up some
threes and provide decent offense. He
was the only other dd scorer in the game for Miami apart from Wade. That has to change in order for the Heat to
stay close. Off the bench Dorrell Wright
and Mario were awful. A combined 3-14
from the field. That also has to change
if the Heat stand any chance against a deep Boston bench. I suspect Wade to do a lot of damange and
points in the paint to sky rocket for Miami without KG manning the middle. Heat keep it within single digits and if they
have fury in their fide and pride in their chests they will pull out a W.
