Lebron couldn't hold MJ's Gatorade bottle on the bench...  Only people who say Lebron is better are too effing young to remember Jordan.

Lebron probably had to stop taking all that HGH he's been slamming.NBA drug test soon.. I'm not reading this whole thread but dude doesn't have a basketball players body and with all the running there's no way any player should jacked. Not to mention losing your hair is a side effect of taking those roids.  Daddy stern talking him up at halftime how he's a great icon blah blah blah. Mike Miller is the heats real hero.

I don't know if he's using anything, lol.  David Robinson was jacked too when he played.  I've seen Lebron in person at a club, and he's freakin huge.  Like Incredible hulk, crazy.

Could you imagine if Reggie Miller got to play against Lebron? Jordan went after Reg and tried to fight him and rip his head off. LeBron would probably cry on the court.

Lebron going to the hole against Oakley and Ewing? He would get put on three floor and not by flopping. Lebron is good when things are going right for his team and is easy. Put him into adversity and he folds like  origami.

For the People questioning lbj size in this thread

    Coming out of high school

He was 6'8". 240 lbs on draft night

Guess he been using hgh  the past 10 years

Shouldn't we see some serious side effects from  this hgh usage?

As Barkley would say to this hgh nonsense with lbj

    CHICO PLEASE.

MJ is the only player in history to score 50 points in back to back playoff games.

MJ is the only player to score 45 pts in 3 straight playoff games.

MJ is the only perimeter player to ave 30 pts a game and shot over 50% and he did it 5 times.

MJ shot 51% or better 6 times, Lebron 3 times.

MJ shot 53% or better 4 times, Lebron 2 times.

And because bigger stronger power players like Lebron have historically always shot higher % than perimeter players that makes MJ advantage over Lebron all the more impressive.

    I like your post claw
I appreciate when folks post things to support their opinion and position

I too feel mj is the goat

But I do feel that there is a rational reason why folks keep bringing up lbj name too.....his game and productivity is trending towards GREATNESS.

Lbj is not there yet......and to me is taking a Different track/route than mj did to get to the mountain top

TRANSLATION....there are different ways  to get to a destination as goat

No need to counter your excellent points.....but I will say.....mj is the goat....no debate there

But lbj is on track to be undeniably the second greatest player Of all time....and will (possibly) force folks to reassess who the real goat is once LBJ IS DONE PLAYING...this comparison cannot be made now...it is to be continued.....the cake is till baking.

    ### LBJ  narrative is still being written ###

    Starlin,

I keep hearing that stats are overrated.

    Please explain that.

    Performance.isnt everything.....what matters more is .....??..  What???
    Please fill in the blank?

And when answering this .....picture yourself talking to young adults that you are coaching basketball and explain how lbj is overrated and is not something that should be immolulated and that xxxxx is the better model.....and why.

Clutch instincts......define that....and please attach evidence....articles...Wikipedia....anything other than this classic SMEAR on lbj that fans ( well not his fans) have been trying to gt to stick

Here's Lebrons 1st 3 game performance in the NBA Finals..........................................................

game 1 - 43.75 % scoring 18 pts --- 12.75 % below his season ave and 8.8 pts fewer than his season ave.

    game 2 - 41.2 % scoring 17 pts, 15.3 % below and scoring 17 pts 9.8 pts below

    game 3 - 33,3 % scoring 15 pts, 23.3 % below and scoring 11.8 pts below

3 game ave of 38.8 %, a whopping 17.7 % below his regular season ave and scoring ave of 16.7 pts which is 10.1 pts below his regular season ave.

Here's the question......................... could that be the worst 3  consecutive game performance ever  during the NBA Finals for the leading scorer playing on a team  with the best record in the league ?

And would Lebron own the top 2 worst performances when we look at his 2011 NBA Finals ?......................................................

    Not looking good for Lebron..............................

worst 3 game  run VS MAvs....................shot  ave38.6%, a whopping 12.4% below is regular season ave and scoring ave  14 pts, 12.7 pts below

I look up Durant and Westbrook last year, Durant shot lights out in the loss, shooting 60%, 57.9%, 54.5 % twice, playing way, way over his regular season ave in the series loss,  Durant in his 1st NBA Finals in just a 5 game series probally has more great shooting games then Lebron has in 3 NBA Finals series combined.

Westbrook had some great games and some bad ones but he's a low % shooter to begin with, probally played at or a bit above his regular season ave.

There's alot to be said for playing great in losing and playing very poor in losing, quite a bit of difference in the 2...............................

    My initial reaction is no

    But good question?

Really did not want to dig through all that data
But if it was the worst performance we would of heard something by now. And.....as bad as folks think lbj is playing....he is heat leading scorer, rebounder, assists in this series.

Also his 33 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks had not been done in NBA finals  since 1997...by mj

I think I get what is bothering his critics...it is his scoring....less than his regular season average

The strength of lbj is not just scoring....he is the total package

Like Barkley says....lbj is a nuclear weapon

But I asked a question and u answered it
So let me do some digging.
