Lebron James is 1000x better than Michael Jordan

Exactly, smarter players and so much more well coached than that Vogel led Pacers team.  

No PROBABLY - but DEFINITELY the worst 1st Post !   Acting as if Michael Jordan is an inferior player is borderline sacreligious.  Michael schooled every top player of his day.  I was fortunate to have seen him play in person and so many times on the tube.  His rivalry with Reggie Miller and those Pacers was monumental and then vs. the Knicks, anyone here saying LeBron is better has NO CLUE about basketball nor it's rich History.  Jordan would beat LeBron in a one on one game 7 out of 10 times were they to play, and that's being respectful of LeBrons abilities.  

How can you say this list of players could possibly be weaker than the players Lebron plays against.  If there were a weaker defensive time period it would be today's lineup !  Not the 90's

Defense is much worse now and it's not close.   Not only is the overall quality of defenders and team defense worse now, the current NBA rules favor the offense.  So even the best defenders today can't play physical defense without being called for a foul.  .  And they had scouts and film in the 90's ha

1st.....Kareem Abdul Jabbar is on the record saying.....lebron will break his all time scoring record

Before haters hate on that...google Kareem and lebron and read his comments about lebron and the all time scoring record 

2nd.....lebron will have a TRIPLE QUINTUPLE....and will be the only player in NBA history to do so......which is get over 10,000 career points, rebounds and assists

There are a lot of guys with over 10000 in two categories (not Jordan....not Kobe)....but no one has over 10000 in three categories...not even Oscar Robertson 

3rd......I will not list them all out out....trust me lebron will be all over the record books when he is done playing.....not just with typical records but jaw dropping stuff

For example....already at age 28.....lebron has already won more player of week and months awards then any player in NBA history

Two consecutive years the media has identified. 7 footer to give the award too....maybe even longer than that....

But for the last two years he coaches have unanimously voted lebron James on the all defensive team

This years defensive player of the year by the media was not even on the coaches 1st team all defensive squad

Maybe media will stop reading about lbj hate crap....and award this man his defensive player of year award especially if coaches are unanimously only voting for him for 1st team all defense

But Kobe Bryant fans.....lbj is in his era....and as good as Kobe is....and folks say he is close to mj......lbj blows him out of the water with player of week and month

You are losing the point if you focus exclusively on comparing that award to magic...mj...bird....etc...etc

The question you should be asking yourself is why has lbj consistently week end and week out ......month end and month out.....year end and year out.....won this award at such a consistent level??

Answer.....he is a freak-stud......and this individual accomplishment just like many other INDIVIDUAL accomplishment will stick out like a PAUL BUNYAN accomplishment when he is done playing.

To me, mj is undeniably the goat

And lbj is on a trajectory to be undeniably the second greatest of all time.....and his career resume will makes lot of folks pause and continue to scratch their heads......because 

1). he will be the all time scoring champ....google Kareem....he agrees with this too

2). He will be the .only player in NBA history with a TRIPLE QUINTUPLE in NBA history.....over 10000 career points, rebounds and assists .....see prior post

3).  He has already won the  most player of week...and player of month awards in NBA history @ age 28..heck he may  even win more.  Mvps .....even the year Derick Rose was GIVEN MVP...lbj had more player of weeks and month awards than  Rose....look it up....BASKETBALL REFERENCE.COM.......media and fan hate LBJ for the decision and to me it  caused the media and fans to write a narrative to believe the lying eyes.....as they hijacked the award and wrote theif narrative why rose was the MVP after lbj left Cleveland 

Remember, the narrative was.......he will never win another MVP....playing with other great players.....how can thy play together....where was his loyalty......why did he not call Cleveland management before doing the decision on air....he will not be the same player...be is and was not the same player......all this and more wrote a narrative.....To believe the media's lying eyes.

4).  and if media gets their act together, and finally agree with coaches that have unanimously  voted for lbj on 1st team all defense....and award this man a defensive player of year too

Lbjs curse...is he was the #1 pick to a terrible franchise his first 7 seasons......never had the outstanding coach (Phil or Popovich)....and until Miami, never had other guys to help carry the load......but even in Miami...things are not truly solid......For Example....WHAT NBA CHAMPION OR DYNASTY IF MIAMI WANTS TO HAVE ONE......DID NOT HAVE A PLAYER EATING GLASS....10 rebounds a game kinda guy.....LBJ IS SO GOOD HE ALMOST COVERS THIS FLAW

He should not be blamed for a general management mistake...to go small and not have anyone on team averaging more than 7 rebounds a game

But off all that

MJ IS THE GOAT......AND LBJ IS STILL PLAYING

But just as clearly as mj is the goat....LBJ is on a path that will make him undeniably the 2nd greatest of all time

And please stop using rings....that requires team play and coaching...and management......mj was fortunate to have all three

Lbj has not been as fortunate throughout his career...leaving cavs for the heat has enhanced his chances to add more substance to his legacy than had he stayed with cavs roster and leadership

First off Jordan is the most clutch player and biggest leader, I have ever seen play..He was the quintessential do whatever it takes not to lose mentality....He had no fear and a competitive edge on every player on the court at all times...When he jumped it seemed like he could fly.....Jordan also never lost a finals, was never even taken to a 7th game in a finals...He could be selfish (takin his own plane to games, fighting 2 different players on his own team, being a big part of firing doug collins)...Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if the media during Jordans era was like it is now....Perhaps things like gambling during the playoffs, his father passing, being scoring champion but losing with doug collins...would have been so much harder to deal with...Bottom Line Jordan is the best player I have ever seen play period....People tend to forget all the time about how great his defense was as well....I'd like to see others stop playing basketball for 2 years and then come back and win championships in your first full years back.........Lebron has better collective stats and is an absolute freak of an athlete, who could not have a more perfect body on a specimen for a basketball player.(besides maybe a ten foot center lol)....He makes everything look so much easier then it naturally is..mr triple double much like oscar robertson....He has had more scrutiny on him then perhaps any basketball player in history ......The guy took less money to go play on a better team so he could win a championship...He gave Cleveland all ample oppurtunity to find him players in the eight years he was there....An aging Shaq way past his prime and Antwan Jamison wasn't exactly what he was hoping for....The part that also kills me is the only two things this guy really does wrong is....hold a press conference to go to miami and not be a 100 percent clutch at the end of games.....how many times do you here bad things about Lebron off the court??....Let Lebron be Lebron.....and Jordan be Jordan....  

Hornaceck and Russell said later that they wanted Jordan back....the NBA needed Jordan and they would never have gone back to change that....class acts....

Jordan was always about proving people wrong and winning.....and his character couldn't be more exemplified in this story....
