You are correct in the statement. But it's the way LeBron has played in earning those mvp's that gives him an edge. Dominates a game much more than the type of game Nash played. Demands much more attention on the court than Nash did. His coach focuses on defense whereas D'Antoni never did.  The combination of a dominating player and focus on defense makes Cle the clear favorite to win it all.

How can people say any player is on Lebron's level.  Its not even close.  Lebron james is top player, big man, and guard in the league.  If Lebron was a point guard, he would be up there with D will

I'm not saying I wouldn't build a team around KD.  I am saying if you could pick between the 2 players right now, I would pick Lebron any day.  Like d wade said earlier today, "this guy could be the mvp of the league every year if he wanted to, its his to lose."  I am a huge basketball fan and what lebron has done for the game i love it is just amazing.

Dude, you make it seem like he is god or something. What the hell are you saying.. if lebron was a guard he would be there with d will? WTF?? Lebron is a PHENOMENAL athlete but he has not won anything yet.

Durant will be a better basketball player in 4 years than Lebron is today.

Lebron jumps shots is icky.....

Kobe has a better jumpshot. Everytime Kobe shoots I think its going in. I dont feel that with Lebron. He is not that scary

Well from 3 this year Durant beats LeBron 36.5% to 33.3%. Not overwhelming.

And besides other stats LeBron tripled Durant's assists.

Please stop these comparisons. Durant is a great young player but his game and his stats just can't top LeBron's right now even though a lot of you wish that they could.

Here is the difference between Lebron and Durant

Lebron had it embedded in his head that he was a superstar when he joined the NBA.

It hasn't sunk into Durant's head yet.

TODAY?? OBVIOUSLY NOT. There's nothing to defend. People put Lebron up there with Jordan as one of the all-time greats.. its just not true. He can't even deal with an elbow injury. Kobe wouldn't have shown any sign of pain
