It's very possible.

As long as he doesn't choke in the Eastern Title game again. I remember last year Dwight Howard was hitting Free Throws at a higher % than Lebron.

Just because you are a superstar and put up huge numbers it doesn't entitle you to ever win a championship. It won't happen for Dirk or Dirkrant.

Just keep watching another 6 weeks. None of those hall of famers were back to back mvp's. None of those guys put up the all around numbers LeBron has been doing. None of those guys could physically dominate like LeBron can. That's what makes LeBron different like it or not.

Its already proven you dont need superstars to win a title. Just ask the pistons. If you have the chemistry, makeup, experience, and luck you will win. Someone tell me lakers havnt gotten lucky some of the series they have won. Bullshit. Remember the 0.3 shot from fisher? That was lucky. I dont care what anyone says. It wasnt even shot in 0.3
The most marketable teams win plain and simple. Durant has a long way to go but dont be stupid and rule him out

Alot of back 2 back MVP's haven't won titles either. Lebron is not different until he does it. POINT BLANK! Your argument is fruitless.

Really?? A lot?? Please name them. I can only think of Nash as a 2 time mvp who hasn't and I'm not sure his were back to back. Please tell me this long list.

1st things 1st  LBJ > Durant....period.  In basketball you measure a player by their points, ebs, assist, steals and blocks....and does they make their teammates better and are they a leader.

LBJ > Durant......it really isn't close....just like the MVP vote.

Even D-Wade said the MVP award could be won by LBJ every year...it is his award to lose every year.

Next, yes Durant is young....but to be the man...he came off as a choker to me.  When LBJ lost to Orlando and Boston or whoever in the playoffs....when you look at his stat line and yes use the eye test....LBJ was not at fault........yes it is a team game...but Durant stunk it up out there....had it not been for the free throws his total pts scored in the series would have been terrible.

He has a ways to go to be considered league MVP over LBJ.....and must become more clutch b/c ok city needs him to be if he is going to be the guy.

The 1st part is dead on but I'm not so much critical of a bad game here or there even in Game 6 at home. All superstars have had them. And Dirk had a great stat line in Game 6 and still lost.

yeah lebron is the espn posterchild

he has accomplished absolutely nothing if he doesn't have a ring and everyone knows that.

If I had to pick a player right now to build a team around it would be Kevin Durant.

Lebron could very well win his first Title this year, but in reality, being a back-to-back MVP doesn't give you any advantage to winning it.

Durant to me will eventually surpass lebron. Lebron cant make clutch ft's for one thing. Everyone has bad shooting nights. Like I said he has a long way to go. Just cause lebron is bigger doesnt make him better. Just cause u won a title doesnt make you better, its the team they build you around that makes you better some people dont understand that concept. Its only obvious a player will flourish on a better team
