Pretty easy for us to tell Aussie to walk away and spend his nights and money woodworking or fishing when none of us are living it and losing or chasing. Horrible spot Aussie, you want to put your fist thru the computer. You go thru 10 years and 200K betting, it is your lifeht and you have to find a way to enjoy it again. I gave up weed as an example after YEARS of smoking it like cigarettes, and now I smoke once a year when someone offers and I love my life more than ever. I closed Credit Cards that funded sports betting and paid them off. After all that suffering I simply take 50.00 visa gift card and often actually turn that into 500, a great feeling. This stuff is in our blood, and to quit cold after 10 years is not reality, and you are not going to GA. Just play small, and sure as hell stay away from Nets and Knicks games, my god. The NBA is a game you can win, just bet it as though it was rigged, and you would of hit the Nets +7, no one cares this time of year in the NBA.

As crazy as it sounds, the NBA is one of the few sports that is consistently profitable for me, simply because there are good statistics, including ref stats available. When you take into account the refs tendencies, it accounts for the rigging factor.
Anybody looking at the statistics without also looking at the refs stats/tendencies will lose in the long run.
Also, many times, for 2nd half numbers the obvious choice is NOT the choice you want to make. I've learned that a long time ago. For example, I took the under for both, the Jazz/Knicks and Nuggets/Mavericks games in the 2nd half yesterday because ALL of the signs from the 1st half said to take the OVER for the 2nd half. So I went in the opposite direction.
There is a reason why the lines are what they are in the 2nd, even if it's set 15-20 points below the total points for the 1st half. Or vice versa.
As for AussieCooler, I would suggest that you quit. But it ain't gonna be easy. The alternative is to go really small to test a hypothesis. Since you've been very unlucky, it may be interesting to see your results if you go against your tendencies or instincts. In other words, when you're about ready to place a bet, try betting the opposite at the last second, then don't think about it any further. See if you start winning. But do it slowly.
Otherwise, give GA an honest try.
