D.Rose cant shoot for shit

hes shooting 44.0% on the season and 33% from downtown

he has shot at or above 50% in 2 of his last 16 games or 5/25 last 30 games thats pathetic and he averages 3.5 turnovers to boot

he will win the mvp thats a fact but lets be serious he is overrated

Whoa!  You realize he has played the majority of the season without a "true" second option(Boozer).  He is forced so many times to take bad shots because no one else on this team is capable of creating on their own.  His outside shooting overall has improved dramatically over his first few seasons and he didn't even attempt 3's till this year.  33% is not all that bad.  Overrated?  You have got to be kidding me!  MVP by far.

Jordan, Barkley, Doc Rivers, Juwan Howard and Chris Bosh(who both play with LBJ) among others have said that Rose should be the MVP.  Come on now.   No disrespect to you but....

people obviously dont listen i said its a fact he would win the mvp and i agree i simply pointed out he cant shoot for shit every game nearly he cant even get to 50% other guys are averaging 50% or close to for the whole fucking season

and this guy gets easy fucking layups/drives to the basket

his first season was 47.5%

last season his field goal % was 48.9%

this season it has dropped down to 44.0%

Easy shots?  You must not watch him enough.  The degree of difficulty on some of his shots is off the charts!!  Even his 3's, some are off the dribble, not many players can do that.  Forget %'s, the guy is a stud!  Compare him to Rondo, Paul, D-Will.  Shooting wise, playmaking wise etc I take D-Rose anyday.

wow we all know rondo cant shoot a lick from the field or at the line he is overrated

tony parker takes it to the rack and takes open jump shots

steve nash and chris paul are better on offense shooting wise and playmaking so your argument is dead fool

Fool?  Listen man, this is an argument about a basketball player.  No need for name calling.  Are you mad because you lost a few bets on the Bulls?  You're team didn't get to draft D. Rose?  You are not a good basketball player and watching him makes you jealous?  You have to have answered yes to one of those questions because if you just honestly think that he is not a great player, you obviously don't know shit!

i just hope the Bulls will play the Lakers in the final and Kobe gets to guard DRose. then we will see how good of a shooter he really is. Kobe will guard him 6 ft. behind.

you get out there and stand next to 9 huge black guys and try to make an NBA 3 pointer, and even sometimes have one of those huge black guys run at you

shit, i have a hard enough time keeping my knees from buckling in in that situation

Deng is key/x-factor to the Bulls winning the title no doubt but only because he takes pressure off of Rose.  Rose attracts so much attention that Deng can cut and slash without the ball and get good looks off of Rose's passes.  Let's not be ignorant here, Rose is the MVP of the league.  Take him off Chicago and they might MIGHT win 38 games.

How about the 6 extra times he got fouled, leading to 12/13 from the FT line.  And half of his misses are cleaned up.  The defense has 4 guys scrambling like mad to slow down Rose driving and he either gets fouled or it is practically a pass off the glass to Noah/Boozer/Gibson, etc.  Guys that only read boxscores don't know hoops.
