Fellas, I cant believe my eyes when I am reading some of the previous posts here ("its media hype", "there is only marginal chance to catch it..or similar absurdities)..Situation is very very seriuos (though not desperate) here, my country is completely locked (which I appreciate), absolutely NO social life, everybody has home office. Italy is struggling beyond belief.
You have to take into consideration, that this desease might challenge public health system beyond any thinkable scope..The only way to go is to fight it together with patience, endurance and discipline.

Sorry but where did you get these numbers from? As of yesterday the entire US had roughly 1600 TOTAL cases.

When i predicted 1 million within 60 days, those # were accurate at that specific time with the data at hand...now the #s have drastically changed, as has the predicted #s of infected...this thread will show the classic divide between the informed and educated, versus the uninformed and ignorant. Which side you choose to be on is completely your free will as a human being, but the eternal principle of Darwinian's law of evolution is in play here...only the strong (and educated) will survive this and come out the other end relatively unscathed. This is just a stock market manipulation. If news wasn't there, life will go on as its just flu season. Hospitals are crowded because everyone with flu/cold symptom is panicking and overloading the hospitals. Some get panic attack when they have cold symptoms and think they are dying from coronavirus. Almost all the deaths from Corona are to those who were already near death with very old age or pre-existing conditions...they would have died even they got the regular flu. If you are healthy and have flu/cold symptoms, simply do what you do usually, rest up, over the counter medication, lots of fluids etc. The reality is that this virus is currently infected lot more.....most people don't even know, they think its a cold/flu. If every in the usa currently with cold/flu symptoms tested for corona, the number infected cases would more than quadruple. This virus will stay and we will live with it. Life will go back to normal. All the fear mongering will stop and take 180 term with good news such as new vaccine, virus not as dangerous as first thought, virus just seasonal like flu and doesn't do well in the summer etc once certain parties get the political situations and the stock market to where they want it to be. Don't be a sheep. You are not going to run out of food, toilet paper or water. Keep you little money and pick up some stocks in april when they hit rock bottem after earnings report. The USA is a shithole compared to Japan, Where about 900 million Chinese live, South Korea is amazing, Taiwan, Thailand's standard of living in many places is better than the USA. American leads in suicide, drug addiction, mass shootings, so, so ,so many obese people, shitty public transportation, no high speed rail, shitty roads, poor school scores, rude people. East Asians follow roles, education is #1 and their family values are a 1000 times better than the USA. Our health care is not even close to the best in the world get your head out of your ass. If you have noticed Asians are running things here and are in charge. Italy was supposed to have the finest health care system. I sell medical supplies from China to the USA. They make ALL our generic drugs and most everything you see in an American hospital was made in China. The machines are of German design but more than half are now manufactured in Asia. Rumours in Canada that they are going to go down to essential services as of Monday or Tuesday latest. Gas stations, grocery stores and medical facilities etc.
Like I said this is a rumour but I trust the source I am getting it from.

Like i said earlier, this is one of those cases where i wish i was wrong, but perhaps i might have underestimated my original #s.
