By May 1st, 2020...there will be 1 million people infected within USA, half of which will be considered critically infected...and of those 500k, atleast half of them will die...thats 250,000 fatalities within the next 50 days or so.

The media will never report the real news, only little sprinkles of informational snowflakes as to not set off a public mass hysteria all at once....this is no longer a movie that we are watching, this global danger will affect us all in one way or another, and all of lifes little freedoms we have traditionally taken for granted will very soon be taken away from us...only a small portion of the population will come out of this unharmed physically and financially over the next year once the vaccine becomes available...hope you all have stored a lot of acorns over the winter, the next 6 months of societal adjustments are going to really separate the resilient adults from the snowflakes.

Meanwhile, i just bought myself 100 of these machines and will have them up and running all over the GTA by the weekend...probably my best investment ever:

This is a great example of a butterfly affect that we see how a small action caused by a person living thousands of kilometres away yields a ripple affect to millions of others life. This is a crisis humanity is facing,  nationality, religions and affiliation are out the window

shutting down the 2020 NBA season is the best decision. I am from Europe and all the sport life is paralysed here...Italy is struggling beyond belief and there are more important things than basketball.

The death rate is currently a little less than 2%. Why would it suddenly go up to 25% especially in America?

Correct, and Americans are the most stubborn of all...many wont adhere to all the upcoming self imposed quaratines and curfews.

More serious than the Caronavirus is the Orange Filth Virus living in the White House, spreading it's murderous disease around the world.

More serious than the Caronavirus is the Orange Filth Virus living in the White House, spreading it's murderous disease around the world.

False news. What ever happen with the Ebola crisis? How many people die from the common flu each year without it being on the news daily? It will all blow over in due time. an_angel

This is absolutely fake news and BS fear mongering.

If you look at the situation in China and Korea it was able to be contained relatively quickly and those countries are both handling it well and for the most part containing it. The chinese basketball league has already begun talks to get the league reorganized and ready to move forward with play once again.

There will be countries like Italy that don't handle it quite as well, but as someone who has family living in Italy I can tell you I am not at all surprised that their government and healthcare infrastructure was not prepared for this.

On the other hand, we're talking about one of the most wealthy and medically advanced countries in the modern world with the United States. The notion that the US is more at risk because we're "sickly and poor" is downright laughable.

WAIT A MINUTE. Did you suggest the US is prepared for this. Like with the millions of test kits that are invisible? You must watch Fox News and listen to the Orange Filth. The USA is the wealthiest country in the world with a system of healthcare terrorism. Anyone who listens to that Limbo/Fox BS has no clue about what is going on in the world.

What do you mean by that? Sports organizations lose huge amounts of money the main cause being the Coronavirus, now that NBA is stopped, Champions League will most likely not be played, who knows what else and that's a lot of money the big companies are down with because of no attendance whatsoever

You are assuming that what may the most developed country in the world will have a 25% death rate, while this goddamn virus, in China, had a deathrate of 2%. Holy fuck, Americans the beautiful...

Gimme a source on that. And also, 1000 diagnosed. There have to be at least 3x more of non diagnosed cases.

Packers, this just seems a bit overstated, IMHO...250,000 fatalities within the next 50 days or so?  Curious as to a source regarding these anticipated #'s or if this is just your personal opinion  peace_5

    Source: Johns Hopkins

COVID-19: Approximately 4,718 deaths reported worldwide; approximately 38 deaths in the U.S. at current

Flu: Approximately 291,000 to 646,000 annual deaths worldwide; 12,000 to 61,000 deaths in the U.S. per year.
