LMAO. Scalabrine was hoping this thread was going to be buried and never to be brought up again.

There was also a post by LeagueCapper on how Thunders at +1200 to win Championship was the best bet of the century. I can get them at +1800 now.

No, because it's insane to say a Lebron James team has no chance regardless of their early season record.

Or is this a concept that is too complex for your brain to comprehend?

Scal may have jumped the gun but we all know anything can happen and it often does. Did anyone see the Hawks winning 19 in row?

Exactly the point, especially for a team with the best player on the planet on it.

They are favored again and beyond the game tonight have looked really really good -- who takes them out in the east Scal?  I can't see anyone beyond the Hawks taking them in a 7 game series, and they are definitely going to get all the close calls in the playoffs ref wise.  team is stacked now and they are still to add Ray Allen.  I think Cavs ticket holders are going to be very very happy by season end.

The comment was posted right after they Cavs beat down the Clippers.

Lebron James' team does have a chance to win, but I don't think the Cavs are that good this year to even come out of the East. I think there are teams in the East that are just as good as the Cavs.

Bulls, Raptors, Atlanta. Possibly even Washington.

Or is this a concept that is too complex for your brain to comprehend?

The comment was posted right after they Cavs beat down the Clippers.

Lebron James' team does have a chance to win, but I don't think the Cavs are that good this year to even come out of the East. I think there are teams in the East that are just as good as the Cavs.

Bulls, Raptors, Atlanta. Possibly even Washington.

You think a 39 year old Allen is going to be a difference maker? He won't be anythign other than a James Jones type of player. He's too old now to play defence.

Also, the Cavs without Varejaio are not very good, and Mozgov has no finesse or hands. He will get killed by the Hawks bigs.

The Hawks will NEVER beat Lebron in a 7 game series sorry. The only team in the East who can beat the Cavs in the playoffs is the Bulls. There's 4 teams in the West that can beat the Cavs though because they are matchup problems. (Spurs, Warriors, Thunder and Grizzlies)

Atlanta has a similar offence to Spurs and since the Spurs beat Lebron, i thnk Atlanta can as well. Atlanta is deep, and they pass the ball well.

People have to realize the Cavs are not as good of a team as the Heat were. I hated the Heat, but Bosh > Love, Wade > Irving.

I also think Dallas can beat Miami.

Narrative is gonna be just like Miami, if the league can control it. Cavs will lose in their first try (like the Heat), maybe even to the Thunder (reversing the previous scenario of LBJ's Heat beating OKC).

That...And of course, as I've said from the beginning of this thread, the Cavs bettors will get $0 from their bet if the Cavs don't win it all(which they won't). Going on a winning streak in the middle of the season shouldn't surprise anyone.

And I've said here a million times, post your 'hedged buyouts' of your 30-1 Cavs future for all this profit (which of course no one has done and therefore, not a single dollar has been made off that bet).

Bob, the team is in fifth place in the East. Fifth...3 games ahead of the Jason Kidd lead ...Milwaukee Bucks...And they needed to go on a massive win streak just to get there. The East is again, so atrocious, that the Commissioner is talking about realignment. And they are all bunched up from 2-6 that, like last year, you can finish 3rd or fifth with a win here or there late in the season. (ask kidd about doing such a thing last year. The script is playing out the same this year as well. No surprise).

This team has to go all the way for this bet to pay off. They won't win it and I am more than confident in making such a statement and I have been just as confident since game 1.

    Again....where's the shredder....???
