ya i know i basically said the same thing you did when i first saw this thread at like 1pm, it just seemed like a boston homer searching for any reason he could to bet on his team.

Ice, did you even watch this series? What gave you the conclusion Boston was the better team?.,,because the eye test should have told everyone Orlando was the play..better players, it's that simple...

basically... the argument thrown out by Sosa was being used when that trend was 27-0... and 17-0... and even 10-0... some 30 years ago... but this year, you don't look like a total fool...
if you spend enough time looking up in the sky and predicting the coming of a giant comet... you will eventually look like a genius!

just a question: does Boston losing this game prove that a 32-0 trend was meaningless?
let's see if there's any complex thinkers out there...
how did the radiation go for your tumor? good i hope.
well anyway, BOSTON could of won by 701 and it would still be meaningless you fucking moron. ALOT OF THE WINS IN THAT TREND CAME BEFORE RONDO WAS EVEN BORN. And now RONDO can just take those 32wins and try to add to it? GET FUCKING REAL. dickface. Alot of people agree with me but hey, youre the genius.

Seriously guys. If you go with the theory that a trend has to be with the team that is on the floor, a wide majority of them are meaningless. Especially nowadays where teams stick together at most for 2 or 3 years.
As far as this game goes, it was rough. Right from the start, the Celtics looked out of it. They looked like they knew that they were supposed to win and figured the Magic would lay down and just let them roll. Paul Pierce, usually a Game 7 assassin, was non-existent. Big Baby played like a fat man in a pickup game, and Eddie House was afraid to shoot. Reminded me a lot of the Pats/Giants Super Bowl a couple years ago where a team that should have been amped up and ready to go just kind of showed up and was very listless.
Now obviously it's not just that. The Magic showed up and shot the shit out of the ball. They won this game, the Celtics didn't lose it. In a way I'm not that disappointed because I know that neither the Magic nor the Celtics would make it past 5 games against the Cavaliers. So I am spared that ass-pounding that the Magic fans will now encounter.
It sucks that my favorite team is now out of the playoffs, but considering how far they made it without Kevin Garnett and Leon Powe is still damn good, and I don't care who the fuck you are, you have to admit that. The Magic were already without Jameer Nelson, but imagine if they had also lost either Lewis or Turkoglu. Or maybe if the Cavs were without Varejao and Mo Williams? Much of what the Celtics accomplished this season were with Powe and KG, and I cannot complain with what they gave their fans in these playoffs.
Just like their fellow Boston sports team the Patriots, they over-achieved with a patchwork starting lineup, and will be back with a vengeance when everyone is healthy.
Best of luck to the Magic fans in the next round. You will need it.

today is your special day...
Arguing over the internet is like the special olympics, even if you win you are still retarded...and YOU LOST.
The trend is and always was meaningless.
I don't want to get into a whole thing with you, but why can't you grasp that the 32-0 trend was irrelevant today?
I still want to hear you answer the scenario I posted earlier with the Bulls/Jazz series for the Finals. The Bulls don't have a great game 7 record but to that point, five titles, because Jordan never needed 7 games. If the Jazz took that to game 7 in Chicago, would you have bet against the Bulls and MJ based on that trend?
Would you bet the Braves to win the NL East this year because they have so many times in the past despite the fact that Maddux, Glavine, Justice, and Avery aren't playing?
Sosa, I am on your side here and I am going to drop it after this. Maybe we should open a book and give this guy some great rates and cash in on him. Nice avatar too. Great film.

Still mad because you think you can guarantee the SLAM DUNK CHAMPION . I won't even curse at you. That is an insult in itself. LET ME GUARANTEE who will get the most votes from home is that better or worse than using a trend that was being made while RONDO was sperm ...i honestly dont know.

thanks. I honestly don't know if this guy REALLY has a brain tumor, or if people are actually that retarted. Wins started getting chalked up before RONDO was born, but somehow those 32 wins have something to do with him ...yes great film.
