going into last year... Boston was a MEANINGLESS 27-0 all-time when leading 3-2 in a series... it was MEANINGLESS because KG, Pierce, Allen, Rondo, Perkins, did not start a single one of those games, and Doc Rivers did not coach a single one of those games...
 
last year they stretched that MEANINGLESS 27-0 to an equally MEANINGLESS 31-0...
 
but it's MEANINGLESS this year because now Big Baby is starting...
 
this year the Celtics have stretched that MEANINGLESS 31-0 to an equally MEANINGLESS 32-0...

THESE Celtics don't have Kevin Garnett and Marbury is coming off the bench. Without him they are 1-0.

I don't get why people make biased arguments full of holes. Just post the facts. You will not get more money for getting someone else to bet on the Celtics and you are not in court so there is no reason to write posts trying to persuade people to bet the same way as you.

so basically, that 32-0 is not even a real trend, according to you guys...
 
because i promise you, there is not a single season in Boston Celtics history where they had the exact same lineup from one playoff run into the next...

i WANT TO KNOW THE CELTICS RECORD IN GAME 7'S in which the roster was the same exact one as this one. The answer is not 32-0...that is FACT. not opinion. FACT. Yes, it is telling us of the homecourt domination of the C's in closeout situations in games that BILL RUSSELL, LARRY BIRD, AND KG played in. You are correct.

Since you are probably undergoing radiation right now, I'll give you the answer. The answer is 1-0 and that is the only  number you should go by. If you want to count game 7's in which Bird,Kg, Russell played in, then yes, they have been very dominant.  NEWS FUCKING FLASH, SCALABRINE AND MARBURY are not RUSSELL AND BIRD...but hey..whatever helps you feel better about the bets.

samuelsosa....95% of trends that are posted on here  have nothing to do with the current roster.  I am well aware that a majority of those Game 7's did not involve this current roster.  But still, in absolutely every series that they have led 3-2, they have won.  They were up 3-2 against the Bulls, and they won.  They were up 3-2 last year against the Hawks and Cavs and Pistons.  Rondo, Pierce, Allen, Perkins, Big Baby, House, Scalabrine, and Doc Rivers were all involved.  The only person that plays that wasn't on the team was Marbury.  They have the experience.  I could have easily thrown out the fact that the Magic have NEVER won a series when they were facing elimination.

Plus the fact that the extra day off is only going to help Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.  Both of whom have been rather quiet in this series.

I also see a lot of people saying that Orlando has clearly been the better team throughout the series.  I don't see where they can come up with this statement.

The only key areas the Magic have won in this series has been 3 point shooting (31% to 27%), and fouls per game (21 to 25.5).  Other than that, most of the stats have been very close.
