In addition to Dallas being 3-0 on series clinchers...

Dallas in those 3 games averaged 108 points per game (Over 100 in all of them), and shot just over 50%.

Dallas has been getting WIDE open looks this entire series. If they get these same looks(They will..they pass so much more than any team Miami has faced + Dirks Double teams), then they will make those shots. Especially if Barea and Terry just got heated in up game 4. Miami doesn't scare this team, and being in Miami doesn't either. Miami has given Dallas everything they've seen.

Nothing will be different about game 6. It'll be close just like the past 5 games, and whoever closes out better will win...and judging by pure closing ability..Dallas has this on lock.

Look Mavs fan. I;m the 1st one to want Mavs to win Sunday I'm just saying there are way too many uncontrollable variables heading into this contest that are begging for this series to go 7. Most importantly, our evil NBA commish Stern who will be dying to set the all time record for an NBA game telecast come Tuesday.

Something smells awefully fishy here, BEWARE!!

Mavs ML is the play.  Too much momentum from the last two games. Mavs are more experienced and Dirk has the killer instinct that lebron does not possess. He will take them to the promise land in game 6.

Nothing is ever guaranteed my friend no question about that. You'll never hear me say lock, guarantee, etc... because to your point there are too many variables. But I'm not a huge believer in Stern manipulating things. Do individual refs from time to time? I'm sure. But the reality as I see it right now is people think the heat will win because they just have to. When that's the best argument people have, it's not looking good for that team.

Nothing is ever a lock but Dallas is the superior team and they should win. We'll see how it goes come Sunday night!

I'm a little nervous about Sunday, but I like having 2 chances to close this out...Game 5 was a very crucial win.

That being said, I hope the Mavs don't have the same mindset is me. They need to treat game 6 like it is their only chance

I don't even know if it's a momentum thing. The Mavs are just better. A popular reason I'm seeing from Heat backers is Dwayne Wade will be playing possessed and won't let them lose. Seems to me he's been playing possessed all series long and it has gotten them a 3-2 deficit.

I don't even know if it's a momentum thing. The Mavs are just better. A popular reason I'm seeing from Heat backers is Dwayne Wade will be playing possessed and won't let them lose. Seems to me he's been playing possessed all series long and it has gotten them a 3-2 deficit.

Mavsfan, why do you act like the Mavs are up 3-0 and that they are a "team", as opposed to the collection of stars, you call the Heat?? If you were taking Dallas all series you are 2-2-1 ATS. Hardly something to brag about. And the momentum crap, yeah that stop as soon as the Mavs got on the plane to come to Miami. The Mavs shot 37% Game 1 and 48% Game 2 in Miami. They scored 82 points and 95 points. Game 5 is the first time they cracked 100 in the series. Everything went in but it was still tied at 100 with 3 minutes to go!! Do you really think Miami will let a 15 pt. lead evaporate again?? I am just gonna sit back and enjoy the Miami victory and wait to see who is going talk about what shots Dallas needs to fall for Game 7. :)

Will you comment after Game 6?? All the close games in this series and you Mavs fans act like you've won it already. You won 2 of 3 at home!! What you were suppossed to do, if not take all 3!! This was such a kiss ass thread that I just wanted to ask your opinion but like a child you mention how funny the post is. Thanks buddy. Hope you're chuckling tomorrow!

Actually like a child you were too lazy to go and see that I'm actually winning in the finals at 12-9 for a +8 unit haul. The mere fact that you didn't bother to do that homework before questioning my ability to pick winning wagers in this series is what I find hilarious. And I still find it funny now.

And yes I will continue to comment because the Heat could win game 6. It's a game and anything is possible. I'm betting that they won't because I don't think they're up to the task. But I'll comment afterwards either way because they haven't been able to win two in a row in this series so I'll still feel the Mavs chances are strong.

This series is split by one game.     The ATS is 2-2-1 in this series.  Not much money made except for the books juice.   I am not a Heat fan or a Mavs fan so I could care less who wins. I just like having a little action on the game and watch from a neutral stance.  I also own a business and know you need to expose your product to the public as much as you can. Refs are marketing agents and have stats of there own.

No doubt about the refs comment. And the series could go 7 games. I don't happen to think it will. As a gambler it's another opportunity to make money if it does. As a fan I'd feel great about the Mavs chances since they've been the best road team in the playoffs. But I'm not a big believer in the nba orchestrating Game 7s. If that were the case we'd see it at least close to every year and we don't.

You also mention how you know your team.

let me tell you about a gold mine.   Heat 1st qrtr and dallas every other qrtr.

The best capper to ever be on this board showed me that trick.

Nice. I'll take a look at how that's worked so far. I'm a big believer in past behavior predicting future behavior. In fact I teach an interviewing class based on that idea so I really believe it. If there's some substance to this qtr approach I'd be willing to give it a whirl. Thanks for the input.

Mavsfan, do you see Barea keeping up the same level of play in game 6? I think Chandler and his offensive rebounding is going to be a key factor. If Dallas can control the offensive glass and limit their turnovers, it's going to be incredibly tough for Miami. GL bro

I do see Barea keeping it up. Anyone that has watched the team all year knows that he's a spark plug. He has off nights like everyone else, but I had to laugh when everyone was saying before the series that he wouldn't run wild on the Heat. He's run wild the whole series he just wasn't hitting the open looks early on. Not the jump shots, not the finsihes around the rim. He probably believed the hype of the Miami D and rushed a bit. But he's clearly gotten it together and realized he can to the rim when he wants and he can get open looks almost at will. He's just got to finish. I think he has a strong game tomorrow night.

Lebron reminds me a lot of Alex Rodriguez before he finally won a few years back with the Yanks. His failures just keep getting blown up and the pressure just wears them out. He'll break through at some point. I just don't think it's going to be this year.

I'm not a big believer in the fix being in. But if it were I think Stern's got a new golden boy in Dirk and he would have the series go accordingly.

Too lazy?? Sorry Mavsfan, but i could care less that you're 12-9, +8 units, which I wouldn't brag about. Your record doesn't impress me, I was curious about your opinion but being a homer I guess you answered that. Now going back to Miami, where they won game 1 by 8 and were kicking your ass for 3 and 1/2 qtrs., only to have a brain freeze and forget what was working to kick your teams ass up to that point, they have no one else to blame but themselves. I expect them to smash the Mavs tomorrow and the 6 pt spread is really nothing as the Heat will roll up with a double digit win. There I said it, now you have something to come back at me with.
