If Ming could ever stay healthy you guys would be in much better shape. He's a great player. I miss watching Shawn Bradley go against him.

Fair question indeed!
1) Peja is a defensive liability. If he's not hitting his shots he can't stay in the game because he serves no purpose. If he gets a few early looks and find shis stroke he'll be all right. If he doesn't I'd rather see them put Brewer in who I like as a defender and could be useful now.
2) I've watched Terry for a long time. He's streaky and doesn't stay down for long. In fact I'd recommend his prop play tonight of OVER 18.5 points plus assists.
3) Wake up call after the last game, no question. When the Mavs have been pushed this year they've responded well. Blwoing the lead in Portland in the first round, Carlisle calling them soft to the press mid season, OKC beating them at hom in Game 2 of the WCF. There's reason to believe they'll respond here.
4) I'm not sure I'd say Dirk called anyone out although the media has certainly played it up that way. In either case he's the captain so he most certainly has the right to do so. The thing about the Mavs is they are a streaky team and can close up shop for awhile (hence all the come from behind wins). My guess is the Dirk pep talk, call out, whatever you want to call it, brings them back to life and keeps them awake for the rest of the series.
5) If they want to shut Wade down then they'll put Marion on him. They've chosen to limit Lebron by putting Marion on him this series and it has worked. With Wade the Mavs did the right thing by backing off of him when he kept driving to the hoop last game. Although they gave up points (too many for sure) there weren't a lot of fouls called on those plays. That's Miami's game plan, drive to the hoop get a few foul calls and then the phantom calls start coming after that because the refs assume there's a foul each time. It happened in 2006. All that said I'd love to see them try Brewer on him tonight or double him.

EXACTLY. how did betting on the MAVS in 07,08,09,10 work when they got knocked out 3 times (out of 4 yrs) in the 1st round, work out for this Big Boy??
i bet you he got slaughtered and is only now making up *some* of the money he lost all those years

I've actually never wagered on them in the playoffs until this year. Need to see the team be successful before I'll wager money on them and there were too many 1st round exits during the years you mentioned.
Try again rookie

you've been on covers since Feb 2006 which is 3 months before the epic meltdown vs. the HEAT in the finals and yeah, i'm sure you did not bet them in the 2007 first round vs Golden State when DAL went a league best 67-15 that yr and was the overall #1 seed in the postseason
that doesn't pass the laugh test!
you've been betting them since 2006, each and every playoff year, I am 1000% postive about this
oh yeah, you've been on covers.com since 06 but conveniently skipped all THREE yrs they lost in the 1st round since then
ROTFLMFAO

Your posts have proven to be nonsensical and lacking in any truth or facts. This last one is entirely supposition. You're clearly a very sad man. You should now slink away quietly.

It's all good Detox. I've been doing pretty well in MLB, NBA, and NHL over the last 6 months so it's not really a fair fight for someone like that guy. I pity him.
