The Yankees handicap really comes down to the White Sox pitching plan. Hudson is confirmed as the opener, but the question is whether he’s only giving them one inning and then Burke comes in behind him as the bulk guy.

If that’s the setup, the Yankees are still very much in play because we’d still get multiple looks at Burke early. But if Chicago is going full bullpen/matchup mode 

I’m doing a little more digging before firing. Yankees offense still makes sense with the weather and current form, but the exact bet type depends on whether Hudson is truly just opening or if Chicago has a different plan behind him

If anyone has an educated guess on the White Sox pitching plan, please share it

 Rotowire is showing Burke as the primary guy after hudson but doesn't say how long hudson could pitch.

My thinking is this we’ve already seen the White Sox use the Hudson/Burke setup once, and with their bullpen a little taxed, it would make sense for them to open with Hudson, try to get one clean inning, and then let Burke work deeper as the bulk guy.

That’s just my read right now, but if that’s the plan, the Yankees still get a real shot at Burke early enough
