Sticking with the Red Sox despite the (unexplainable, at this point) line drop. Part of this has to do with Slowey's day splits. Although a small sample size, in 20 games, he is 5.99 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, .309 BAA during the daytime.

Hey Weebs, people out there saying the line drop could have something to do with this gambling syndicate known as Koshers. From what i've read, could be just speculation, I saw that these people were also responsible for the large line movement on the padres braves game that we got crushed on. Just some food for thought. what book do you use to get the -1 line; or do you just split your bets between the $ line and run line, then add and divide to get your line?

I have a two teamer with STL -240 and COL -1.5 +115.

It helps cut down the odds. 

Thoughts?

I don't like playing -1.5 lines on a home team. You're basically conceding an entire inning. In other words, if the Rox are up by 1 after 8.5 innings, they don't get a chance to score that extra run. As for the Cards...they should win no problem. Still...I'm not a fan of laying that kind of chalk (even in a parlay). Regardless of my opinion, I hope you hit it. BOL

I heard that creating your own -1 line by using the ML and RL you acutally get better odds than by playing the -1 line.  I haven't done the math and figured it out but I heard it works in your favor to create the -1 line yourself.
