Parker Messick for the Guardians is 9-7 with a 2.59 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 24 starts this season. Messick has a 1.96 ERA in seven starts since June, and he is 5-0 with a 1.17 ERA in eight career interleague starts.

Matt Wilkinson to make his MLB debut tonight for the Giants. Wilkinson pitched well at Double-A, but he is 3-4 with a 5.15 ERA at the Triple-A level while allowing 25 earned runs and 7 homers in 43 2/3 innings in 10 starts.
