Fading woods- Richardson here. He is 0-5 with a 6.49 era and a whip over 1.75 which means he has monster traffic on the bases. He has given up 8 hrs in 34.2 innings and has walked 14 to 17 strikeouts which means he doesn't have that out pitch to put away hitters and against a tough wash lineup with lots of lefties thats an issue. Jake irvin is not great but at least i know he can strikeout batters in times of trouble. Givevme nats here.
Yankees over 8.5 -120 - 5 units
Yankees dont have the pitching matchup on their side today but they do have on their side that Gore has a propensity to be wild and throw a ton of pitches. Yankees will be patient and make him work. Blackburn is meh and could easily allow 3+ here and not last long. Going over 8.5
POD #1 - rays under 8.5 -108 - 10 units
Riding this til the wheels come off. Under is now 11-0 last 11 games for rays. Rays pitching has been lockdown allowing 1.3 runs per game their last 13 games and allowed 1 run or less in 8 of 13 games and now more then 3 runs in any game. Jax goes tonight and as he continues to get stretched out. In 5 innings the last 2 starts he allowed 0 runs 2 hits. He will likely go 2-3 innings followed by rays pem who allowed 1 run in their last 32.1 innings. I have to trust redsoxs rookie lefty bennett to do his part. He allowed 1 run 5 hits in 5 innings vs astros his first start and looked poised and in control. Rays lineup is meh so hopefully be can replicate that even if he allows 2 runs. Going under 8.5 in rays
I will be up today but i hate losing a POD. Pods lost recently in the most foul ways but this one was a flat out bad play. Rookie in his 2nd start and a reliever trying to start.
