Yeah unfortunatly they all even out pretty much....I usually don't bet against my own team, but I did two days in a row and got burned both times.  Don't think I'll be betting against the Braves again.

  Always a tough bet, against your own team.  Don't I know it.  I'm a Nats fan.  How much money have I cost myself over the last 2 years (before this one) by not being able to bet against my own squad?  Thousands...

I lost as well but have to admit that I have been pulling out some late wins in the past three weeks, so I guess being on the other side once in a while ... I can't complain.

 

Bottom line is that was a solid pick. Good job as usual Estes.

agreed, beans.  it's easier to stomach the ones that should have been sure-fire winners that were snatched away than the ones where you're getting blown out and obviously on the wrong side.

wow, couldn't believe what i have seen it. Braves had 7 runs in bot. of 9th and moosed the Reds.

My thoughts on the Brewers is as long as they make good beer they have to protect the plate. No wonder the Pirates keep trying to steal, can you blame them? The Pirates will probably keep this up until the Brewers put a lock on the fridge on deck.

what a heartbreaker of a day....braves tally 7 in the 9th, ball bounces over the wall to keep tying run from scoring in chicago...my last chance for a winner today is arizona RL, and after scoring 5 in the 5th to take the lead, they give up 5 in the 6th....oh my aching head...assuming the sun WILL come up tomorrow, i guess we just regroup and keep plugging away...

oh my goodness...i just saw the highlight of the braves walk off slam...the fuckin' left fielder had it right in his glove!!  what a clown.  if he could jump higher than my grandmother he would have made the catch....

my boy used to say "he's got no ups.  he couldn't clear the gummy end of a rolling paper."  must have been talking about lance nix.  and that's why you only get to start once a week, lance.  nice catch.
