The +RL is the dumbest bet in baseball if you feel the dog is going to lose by 1 then DO NOT BET THAT DOG... making dogs into favs is what the books want you to do... lose profit when u win and eat juice when you lose... 1 RUN games DO NOT happen often enough for this to be profitable

I agree with you, Moose. Yesterday, I took the A's +1.5 @ -125 instead of the A's @ +220. 
On the flip side of this, I can not tell you how many times I took the +RL against Roy Halladay. I'll throw a record out there = 7-3 out of 10 games.
It's been about 75% good for me when I do it.
But you make perfect sense with this line:
