I believe he died with Buddy Holly in a plane crash in bumblefuck Iowa.

I lost my parlay but I still have grilled baby back ribs and chicken thighs to look forward to.  Baseball on the radio while grilling in the backyard is as close as you’ll get to heaven without dying.
