I received a 100% bonus on Bovada that had a 7x playthrough requirement and I thought "Oh wow, that is the lowest I have ever seen, I'm gonna snatch it up!".
I deposited $498.70. I then received a bonus of $498.70 with a 7x playthrough requirement. You would think that 7x playthrough requirement would only be on the $498.70 for the bonus, but no, it's on the deposit amount and the bonus amount ( $997.40). So essentially your 7x playthrough requirement is actually a 14x requirement. Very misleading and downright sneaky to say the least.
So my total that I need is $6,981.80. I actually though this was the total I needed to make in wagers lol, but nope, that's not it. If I make a wager for $100 and only win $90, the $90 goes against that balance not the $100 (if I win. If I lose, the $100 goes against the playthrough balance).
I made that deposit on the 12th and am only 64% through the requirement. I am up $3,000, so I guess I can't look a gift horse in the mouth, but it usually doesn't work that way lol.

It always works that way. Read the small print. My current book offers me a 100% cash bonus and 200% free play bonus. I just deposited $1,500 so my starting balance is $3K and my FP balance is also $3K. Have to wager $78K before I can withdraw whatever is left

I did just ask them what if I want to forfeit the bonus (they give you that option).
They told me $498.70 would be removed from my balance. That's what my bonus was so that's something. I basically used that bonus to make bigger bets than I normally would and it has worked out for me so far.

All you have to do is play whatever balance you have on there half of the bal on 1 side and the other half of bal on the other side of that bet just find a game with low juice and the amount will go up right away and you can cash out this is only if you don’t mind a little juice

Well it's usually a 30x rollover which would take you forever to be able to cash out. I also think it's ridiculous that they include the amount you deposited in this. It should be just the bonus that determines the rollover amount. Odds are already in the books favor.

Update: I'm 96% through my Playthrough requirement. I put a $1,000 on the Pirates/Cubs under (seemed like a no brainer since cubs have been in a slump and Pirates can barely hit).
Just placed my last bet that will put me over the top if I win or lose. Took Phillies / Nationals under 7. Took that as a live bet in the 3rd inning.
I'm pumped I will finally be able to cash out a little bit.
