l never actually felt badly for Max Fried. I don’t feel badly for any athlete who has a bad game when I know they’re sitting on tens of millions of dollars and their life is fabulous.

When I said I felt badly about what I did to Max Fried, it was meant as a joke that I brought his streak of great starts following a Yankees loss to a halt by starting a thread about how great he is and posting a bet on his team.

I followed his play last night because he’s one of the best cappers on this forum

 

But after I clicked my Wager in, I was thinking wait a second. Max Fried Didn’t even play in the Yankees loss so I don’t understand the correlation behind a max fried superstart and a Yankees loss

 

The evidence that he provide was decent, but the sample size is way too small in fact, a sample size of  2 uncorrelated events have even 50 games would be too small

 

By uncorrelated, I mean that the pitcher and the team were not even part of the same loss

 

It would be way different. If you told me Allen Iverson was humiliated on his home court and then the next day the Sixers always cover the spread.
