I can't see any reason why not except that the line is fishy as hell. 87% of the public on him and it doesn't move. If a fix ever existed it may be this one. I loved it, but am scared to death of it!

Of course I might question my play on the Braves as well. That line too is fishy. Take a look sac.

 I don't know what to make of anything anymore. I had a busy weekend. I'm on vacation this week, and it will involve a lot more fishing than handicapping.

a "boiler maker" is any beer in a glass and a shot of any booze that you then drop into the beer, the whole shot glass, then the customer chugs. Some might call it a "depth charge". Obviously the beer glass has to be large enough to fit the shot glass and not be filled fully with beer.

a Scottish boiler maker could use scotch, Irish Jameson, Polish some polish vodka, you get the picture.

Give the redbirds a mulligan for losing to the best team in baseball yesterday. Their 6 game winning streak ended. The Dodgers in anti-sweep mode are a tough out.

Today they face Patrick who's been bouncing back n forth from the pen to starter. He's an average ground ball to fly ball guy. 55.3% of his batted balls are line drives or fly balls. With high  humidity and winds blowing out, he's in a bad place.

The redbirds have hit him well over his career, for a .304 BA. Although they've never walked against him, he just escaped a 5 walk outing last time out where no real damage was done.

Leahy isn't the greatest pitcher in the world to back, but he keeps the ball on the ground. 52% GB, 19.4% fly ball. The Brew Crew have hit .239/.677 vs ground ballers. With 3 homers in 273 playe appearances. 

The Brew Crew have hit Leahy at .143 in his career.

Nice push by the Rockies, they could only get 1 hit off of the Mets bullpen. That's an amazing feat.
