 Are you worried Sale has 62 pitches ? 

There’s definitely some positive shit in there.

First off, it’s still 0-0 after three, and that matters more than anything. Sale has been living dangerously, but he has stranded everything. The Dodgers have had chances and still have zero runs. That is a big win for the under through three.

Second, Sale’s stuff is clearly good enough to survive traffic. He has been getting strikeouts when he needs them and just escaped the biggest jam of the game. The bad part is the pitch count, no question. But the Braves had an off day, so Atlanta is in a better position to go to the bullpen if Sale can just get them into the middle innings. 

And Yamamoto is the best thing happening for us. He came in with a 1.77 road ERA this year, and so far he looks like the guy we handicapped.

I’m rooting for the Dodgers to become Milwaukee’s opponent in the NLCS, so no.

The fact that we’re still in an okay spot with Sale on the ropes basically all day is a win by itself. Now can somebody please pull this motherfucker before he gives the whole thing away

With the way he allowed runners on bases after 3 innings he should have been pulled

At this point, I’d prefer Atlanta go to the bullpen. Sale has already been hit hard several times, the Dodgers have had traffic basically every inning, and once the contact starts reaching the warning track, I don’t want them squeezing extra outs just because he’s Chris Sale.

QUICK OUT$. 

It’s unfortunate to see one of the game’s greats enhancing his reputation as a not so great postseason pitcher, but that is what’s happening tonight to Chris Sale.
