McCann played today. They still lost to hapless Washington.

Thanks for the good words gentlemen. Headed to bed and listening to one of my favorite songs, "The Spirit of Radio" by Rush...I recommend it highly...in GH's top 50 of all-time....I think that will be my new theme here.....on winning nights, capping it off with one of my Top 50 songs of all time.


I used to do that with Celibrate by Kool and the Gang.. LOL.. Even if I won $20 I would still play it.. Still brings a smile to my face.

Game, having followed the site and yourself for 3 years now I have to say this is absolutly as hot as you have been over any 3 week period in the last 3 years. What many "newcomers" may not realize is that you have typically been a slow starter in bases the past couple years....NOT SO this year.....it is scary to see what you may be able to turn this year into with this kind of a start.....keep up the great work.....in the famous words of REO Speedwagon....KEEP ON ROLLIN !!!!!!

McCann did play.  He went 0 for 2.  He was fitted with a new contact lens for the problematic eye prior to the game.  Evidently he will be fine, but he did say he might elect to get off-season eye surgery.

I now have new-found respect for you!!!  Anyone who can appreciate the genius of old-school Rush is someone who has sound judgement.  I think I'm gonna listen to some now!!!
