Real simple, what has he done in the past six seasons? 0 silver sluggers, 384 hits, 450 k's, .260. avg. 0 Gold gloves, 0 batting titles. Stop bringing up something he did 10 years ago! If he's so great?? How come he doesn't have gold gloves or batting titles. All he has is Silver slugger and MVPs and if you played in the 90s and early 2000s, he wouldn't have those.

I guarantee you, if you were honest, you don't want him on your team right now. Or in the past 6 seasons??? You can't tell me that the dude hasn't sucked in the last 4-6 seasons. He's had 1 good season in the last 6. And that was 4 years ago. I can't understand why trout fans can't realize his career is over!!! What am I missing here???? The only reason he will go to the Hall of Fame because he's popular. He's a good dude, he minds his business, he's good with the fans. I don't have a problem with him. I have a problem with his fans and the media who thinks he's great. And he's not! Frank thomas, Griffey Jr, Manny Machado, Barry Bonds, Willie mays, to name a few are laughing their ass off at his stats. His fans and the Media thinks he's great, and he's not. At least you're being honest, you're keeping it real, I appreciate it. And you're right, you, or every other general manager don't want trout on their team. He's injury prone, 35 million a year with his stats. Nobody wants him. But the media and his fans would disagree. He's 33 years old, his career is over, it's been over for 4 years. But trust me, the media is starting to realize that he's done. The word is spreading, that he's done and he's only 33. But he's been done since he was 29. That's what happens when you take steroids.

I wouldn't vote for him, but he will make it because he's popular. He will have the "shortest" HOF introduction speech ever. I mean, what are they going to mention?? Silver slug awards, a few MVPs and that's it. He won't have 3K hits, actually nowhere near it, he won't have 500 home runs, actually nowhere near 500, below a 300 career batting average, he won't have 1500 RBIs, Griffey has almost 1900, trout will probably have 1200, O gold gloves, batting titles and championships. He has "metric" numbers. That's it!
And one final thing. Do you know what great players do? Great players are available for their team on a daily, weekly basis. Well, that's not trout. Great players, PLAY! That's what makes them great!!! They are available for their team and the league to watch them perform. Mike Trout hasn't done anything in the past 4 seasons, and 1 good season in the last 6. Why do you think Greg Maddux is labeled great? Because he took the ball every 5 days and pitched his ass off. Not to mention brady, mahomes, Messi, Gretzky, the Big Hurt, Tony Gwynn, Manny Machado, bonds to name a few. My point is. He had 5 plate appearances, and struck out 3 times. Top of the 9th, his team winning 6- 5, runner on third base. And what does he do?? STRIKES OUT. HE COULDN'T GET HIS TEAM THE INSURANCE RUN. THAT ALL IMPORTANT INSURANCE RUN. He couldn't even hit a fly ball. "his average up to 241"! It will die when Mike Trout goes one game without striking out. That's when it will die. That's not asking too much. Manny Machado does it all the time. But trout, only 16 times this season he didn't strike out in a game. I'll put it the rest, when that happens. The dude sucks
More easy money today. Over 1 strikeout for Trout ( -180 ). All he has to do is strike out once, in which he will, and I will break even. The sports books knows he strikes out, that's why it's -180. Guaranteed today! He will either get hurt because of his steroid use, or strike out at least once. Because that's what GREAT players do?!?! They get hurt, and miss games for their team, or they struck out at a high rate.
Griffey Jr stats. .284 average, 2781 hits, 1779 strikeouts, 630 home runs, 1836 RBIs, 7 silver sluggers, 10 gold gloves, 13 All-Star games. These are stats Mike Trout will never achieve, not even close. All that trout has is Silver slugger awards and he wouldn't have those if he played in the '90s with Griffey Jr. Trout won't even hit 500 home runs.
