Anyways, I know this thread is long, but I mentioned it about 10 times I don't have a problem with trout, it's his fans and the media who thinks he's the God of baseball and he actually sucks. I could find you the post again, but it'll take too long. But once again, I don't have a problem with trout, it's his fans, obviously you too, that I have a problem with. I'm fine with trout. He's a good dude, he's good to the fans and the media. The problem is you, and his fans who thinks he's great.

two more strikeouts for the great Mike Trout. How many times can this dude strike out and people still believe he's relevant. All they talk about is ops. That's because he walks. He knows he can't hit the ball, he knows if he swings he will strike out. He takes a first pitch strike every at bat because he doesn't want to swing. He's a worthless baseball player. Yet his fans thinks he's great

This will be 8 seasons in a row he will have more strikeouts than hits. An next year will be 9, followed by 10, 11, etc. all he does is walk, strike out, or hit a meaningless home run. Seriously? 64 RBIs last year. That's terrible

But like I promised, if Cleveland Cavaliers loses the series against Detroit I will move on from this thread and I will officially leave the Mike Trout lovers and all of his strikeouts alone. But I've had too much fun. One little problem. Cleveland Cavaliers aren't losing this series versus Detroit. And this thread will continue, and I will continue to make money and make fun of Mike Trout striking out and his fans who love him

The HOF voters have a problem with guys who strike out. As they should. If you can't put the ball in play?? Do you really belong in the Hall of Fame? There are only two guys in the Hall of Fame that has more strikeouts than hits in their career. And their resumes speak for themselves with World series achievements. Jim Thome and Mr October. By the end of next year trout will have more strikeouts than hits in his career. Truth be known  MIKE TROUT DOES NOT BELONG IN THE HALL OF FAME. His numbers are not even close. 

When trout career is over his numbers will be 

 .279 avg. 2100 hits, 2250 k's, 3 MVP's, 1200 RBI's??? That's high. 0 championships, championship appearances, division titles, playoff wins, batting titles, home run titles, triple crowns, gold gloves, 200 hit seasons. And only 2 times he had over 100 RBIs in a season. Those aren't Hall of Fame numbers. He has a high ops because he walks all the time because he can't hit. He takes the first pitch strike because he knows he needs to walk to get on base.

Trout fans are just like Bill belichick fans. Delusional. It was awesome Little Bill didn't get the Hall of Fame. That was effing hilarious. But hey, the dude can't win without Tom Brady. And that's proven

imagine Mike Trout going on a 12-day road trip to the East Coast in the 90s. Yankees, boston, Atlanta, Arizona, then home. Cone, mussina, Rivera, Pedro, Clemens, Maddux, Glavine, smoltz, big unit, schilling.  Trout would literally strike out 26 times in 12 games. He strikes out now facing no name pitchers he's not even facing HOF pitchers. And when he does face verlander, Kershaw and scherzer. His stats against those 3 guys are horrendous. Griffey Jr, the Big Hurt, Bagwell, Edgar Martinez, Bonds faced these guys for 15 years. It didn't bother them any. If trout played in the 90s. He would be a nobody. 0 MVPs, and silver sluggers.

Griffey Jr versus clemens. .311, 6 Hr, 16 RBI's. Trout versus Clemens. .114 avg. 0 HR, 2 RBI, 17 k's in 23 at bats. You think I'm joking? Look at Trout's stats versus verlander, Kershaw, and scherzer. 3 Hall of Fame pitchers. But believe me, Mike Trout fans would find some excuse for him saying he's the best

Where are all the Mike Trout fans?

In the past 22 hours you have posted 14 more times. All but two had the word "Trout" in it. You are deranged.

On a side note...the Cavs play zero defense. The best teams left in the NBA all play defense. The Cavs will not beat the Pistons in this series. When the Cavs lose will you please stop posting and go back upstairs and hang out

 Yes, 100% I will stop.  But Cleveland isn't the losing. So I'll be good making fun of his fans and the strikeouts. No Superstar has more strikeouts than hits for 8 years in a row in a season. But the great Mike Trout does

 So one question for you, I don't want to take any more of your time. You said people don't agree with me. Okay. DO YOU THINK TROUT STRIKES OUT TOO MUCH? Remember this will be 8 seasons in a row he will have more strikeouts than hits. Next year he will have more strikeouts than hits in his career. Only 2 HOFers haa that stat. 

Would a Mike Trout fan or anybody tell me which stats are better? (A) GP 1766 R 1080 H 1963 2B 408 RBI's 1154 k's 1363 HR 352 avg .296, ( B ) GP 1686 R 1228 H 1789 2B 330 RBI's 1041 k's 1705 HR 415 avg .293. Player A has more hits, RBIs, doubles, 150 less K's,  better career batting average. Not much less home runs. Which player is better? OH, AND BOTH PLAYERS HAVE MVPS. BOTH PLAYERS HAVE OPS ABOVE 900.

 You would need a bit more information.  
You have put just enough information out to select A. 
But for a fuller picture you would need to include other stats.  
Like, walks — A player with 415 HR might also have 1400 walks, which changes everything.

OBP — Walks are huge for WAR.

SLG/OPS — Shows total offensive impact, not just hits.

Total Bases — This matters for run production 

OPS+ or wRC+ — This would adjust for ballparks. 

Primary position played — need this for defensive metrics to measure the defensive value.

Playing time/rates — to evaluate evenly  

Era played — this matters to measure evenly

So, you cannot just cherry pick statistics and say one is better or not.

You can select average and say one player or another just had a better average.

Or homeruns, walks, strikeouts, etc.

But in order to have a fuller view of a player’s total value you need to look at a lot more variables.

This is what I was telling you earlier that the more recent analytics look at nowadays — instead of just RBIs, BA, and HRs.

Thank goodness Cavs are going down so we don't have to see these posts much longer
