Question: Spencer Strider has only thrown 3.1 innings for 87 pitches, in Colorado's altitude. I could forgive that performance.
Blake Snell hasn't thrown a pitch in 2026, and you have to pay -171 for him to prove that everything is a-ok in his world. Vs this Braves lineup?

"Snell recently completed his third minor league rehab start, and he was able to go four innings and throw 55 pitches. As such, he's not yet fully stretched out, so he'll be in for an abbreviated outing against the Braves on Saturday even if he pitches well."
I kind of like Kyle Freeland's chances in Philly. He faced the Braves in his last game, the best vs lhp, now he faces the worst.

"Merrill Kelly is rough as it gets." Are you relying on ancient history? He has defeated only one of four opposing starters (the first), the last three are a disaster. Holmes has defeated six of eight, the last three convincingly. D-bax offense vs righty has disappeared, with only one above average performance in their last eight games, and that was the first of the string. Be careful with those YTD and career stats.
Strider/Snell has far too many unpredictable aspects for me to touch that game

Here's something we can kick around, just for amusement. I just walked through the living room and my wife has a WNBA game on, Renegades vs Stallions, and I immediately ask myself "Who would ever nickname a female team the 'Stallions'?".
Wouldn't that be like if the Chicago Bulls decided to rename themselves the Chicago Steers? Try that and the whole roster probably walks out (although sometimes they play like it).
Waiting for the games to start is a severe nuisance.
