we should indidivual win streaks going, or last 10 to see whos hot, so people don't get fooled if someone has a bad record but has won 9 out of 10 picks you know?

The purpose is to not tail an individual, but to discuss our picks and outcomes.  This will make us better at what we are doing.

People are responsible for the plays they put $$ on.  Not the capper they tailed, or the one they faded.

Everyone here has information or a perspective they can contribute.  If we combine all the information and all the angles, we will be able to make better plays which will equal more $$.  You would be naive to believe I don't bounce my ideas off of others I respect.

It's a marathon, not a race.  The sooner we ALL come together, the sooner we will ALL share success.

Yeah I get it, I don't really tail I just compare my picks to all your guys picks to see if we are thinking the same thing. You guys def take all this more in depth. Its wierd I know a lot about the NBA and basketball in general but have very limited knowledge of baseball but have been perfect posting in this forum and way above .500 for the year. I'm trying to learn faster but NBA still keeps my attention even tho the play offs are killing me!

aleiverson02... sometimes ignorance is bliss lol.. i'm the opposite, i know a lot about baseball, but very limited in NBA, yet i had a much better basketball record this season than baseball.. best at NCAA and probably least knowledgable there lol.. and just using the phrase, i know were not ignorant, just not experts i guess..

i definitely have thoughts on the 19 inning game in oakland.. not sure how the outcome will be though, we know the managers will want their pitchers to go over 100 pitches tonight whether their throwing good or bad, with parkers struggles so far, 2 offenses clicking that'd lean over.. BUT all the hitters could be sluggish after not going to bed till almost 4 am.. so perhaps the hitters aren't coming out swinging tonight? 
i'm probably going to stay away, but am VERY interested in seeing the outcome.. saw one person said bet over, seems logical but not a lock to me.. and keep eyes on the nym-mia game as well.. went 15 innings, and with those bullpens, had to have an effect.

Just curious whats your guys backroundds? Students? Working? I'm a student at the University of Oregon. I see your guys usernames but want to know more about my fellow gamblers hah

Trends change.  Betting against public favorites tonight with negative ML's... Does that even make sense?

 

Like I said yesterday, I think the Nats win the series.  The flopping of the lines reminds me of the Braves series in Detroit.

 

If Cleveland is tired, this line does not reflect it.  I still think Halladay has the name appeal of old.

 

I'm thinking the Orioles West Coast road trip catches up to them at some point.  AshyLarry pointed out to me that Saunders threw a complete game last night, protecting the pen.

Tampa's lineup is hot right now and I will take them against their old teammate.  Shields can give up the long ball and the Rays have slugged 12 of them the past week.  Tampa has 17 HR is 13 road games this year while KC has a league worst 5 HR at home.  KC has holes in their lineup (Moustakas) that will help Tampa get out of jams.  Live value here on Cobb.

Over 7 COL Rockies - LA Dodgers +105

Colorado hits very well on the road, and vs the lefty.  The Dodgers get a boost to their putrid offense with Hanley back in the lineup tonight on what I believe is his bobblehead night.  Bonus:  De La Rosa's lifetime numbers vs LA are awful. 1.72 WHIP

BOS Red Sox ML -123

Edge to Boston's lineup and starter.  Lester should rack up the K's tonight.  Lester very good splits in this one.  Fading Toronto who is dead last in .OPS vs lefties this year.  Jays feeling immense pressure playing some really bad baseball.  Toronto is one loss away from the franchise's worst April ever.

I knew you'd be on the Nats!  The Indians struggle with the bats at home, + The Doc has good splits in CLE, not good.  Beware.  I was thinking under for this one.

I agree with the mariners!  Seattle's lineup is smoking hot right now.  Rested bullpen.  Good combo.

all 3 lines are way lower than they should be on the favs.. orioles started at -125 and have dropped down near -110.. mariners playing well and as musicmatt pointed out, o's on their 5th straight game of a west coast swing, fatigue may be setting in..

indians as well, feel people are down on them lately, but a return home may be just what they need, i like mccalister especially at home.. halladay may be turning the corner but he's not all the way there, i expect inconsistency from him.. indians lineup has the potential to rip him, good spot for them here.

another line i feel is too low, lester has been dealing and the redsox are rolling.. off a sweep feeling good etc.. perhaps feeling too good? like the yankees were yesterday off a sweep? the bluejays need this win and morrow wants to get back on track.. the high o/u 8.5 -123 tells me there will be runs this game.. i expect lester to not be as sharp today and jays bats prevail here.. one of those 6-4 kind of games.

my picks are very similiar to musicmatts! but we've been discussing a lot and i think we're on the same page today. like his nationals bet as well. tuesdays have gone against the favorites so far.. see if this continues.

also think tb-kc, stl-cin, nym-mia all smell kinna fishy.. lines just seem to be enticing favorite bets.

Washington bats come alive tonight to take advantage of Hudson who tends to struggle sometimes at home.

Under 8 MIL Brewers - PIT Pirates +100

I believe both pitchers will put on good performances tonight., but I also believe the pirates might take it in the late innings taking advantage of a poor brewers bullpen.Brewers might feel the jet lag effects of a west coast trip.

Over 7.5 NY Mets - MIA Marlins -115 ( bought half a point at VERY good value) 

Both teams are going to be tired after a 15 inning game last night, I see people being lazy on defense and simple mental erros resulting in lots of points. Only bought the half point because it was at -115 instead of the usual -140 Also my system is 15-1 in this perticular situation with team records of NYM 1-0 and MIA 1-0
