James shields raised the bar on Saturday with his complete game 2hit loss. Santana/Morrow pitched great today, very efficient. Could of went either way. I will back Santana, especially at home, until he gives me reason not to. Morrow could be heating up too, a streaky pitcher.

For sure, he is doing and saying all the right things. When that KC bullpen gets rest, they are highly effective.

Guys like shields, Santana, Guthrie are quality start machines. Really like the royals bats too. Great team avg with risp and depth throughout order.

Good day splits for both starters in this. Boston bullpen well rested after the gem thrown by Buchholz yesterday. Tampa lineup really struggling and Boston lineup not overly successful vs Hellickson. Good defence on both sides the whole series. Getting this 11:05am early pick in for now.

i trust cliff lee, simply put, he doesn't go less that 7ip, has decent history vs the reds, and i don't see him giving up more than 3, so if the bullpen can hold down the 9th inning, i got this. i'll say 4-2 phils.

marlins won't be able to score much off of jordan zimmerman in this ballpark.. they're going to have to manufacture runs which i don't see happening, or get runners on to hit a 3 run homerun, and i don't see them having a hitter that can do that.. as long as zimmerman isn't off his A or B game, marlins stay at 2 or less. 5-1 nats.

this one, i trust tommy millone at home, historically good #'s at home.. and facing the astros, he should over match them.. the line up of the A's is still banged up though, which is why i like bedard to hold his own for 6ip.. which should be enough to keep it under, big ballpark, cold night, depleted offenses, take the under! 3-1 oak.

Every swing and miss at a Piñata makes one swing harder and harder. The thing is, I am not blind folded and have learned from the swings and misses.

So obviously the Braves are a team to be reckoned with this year. They are very similar to the Nationals, as they do a lot of the small stuff well. Tonight, the Nationals travel to Miami to release the frustration. To complete the Piñata analogy, I plan on freeing the candy for my friends.

McDonald good success vs STL. Edge to Pirates' bullpen. Lynn splits not well away and vs PIT. Pirates' swinging hot bats lately.

TOR Blue Jays ML -121

Buehrle vs his old squad. Good matchup for the lefty. Toronto bullpen is rested. Jays' bats should be able to get to Floyd. Expect a better performance from the home team today.

Mets had the day off yesterday since their game with the twins was postponed, they should be a little fresher than the rockies.Gee and the mets have had success at coors in the past.Nicasio has struggled at coors throughout his short career.

Brutal day yesterday putting me negative for the first time in a while. Back to the bread and butter... can't believe I laid 1.5 to 1 on the cards.

NY Mets ML +122

Getting the better pitcher here coming off of a bad start looking to bounce back. The Mets have relied on the long ball and have been hitting it well. That should continue in a park that allows 1.493 home runs more than the average.

HOU Astros ML +173

Houston might lose this but the line is way too high so I see a lot of value here. Oakland has cooled down a lot since their first series and has a few injuries. Last year Houston couldn't get on base. This year they can and just need to bring them in (they stranded 10 runners last game) I like the value here. Early season revenge angle here.

TOR Bluejays ML -120

Buehrle against his old team he knows those hitters better than anyone on a team that hasn't changed much. Add on top of that the White Sox have only won one game on the road this year against the Indians by 1 and I like Toronto in this.
