Toronto has looked good very seldom this year, yesterday's late innings were nice for them, but these Detroit bats are still hot. I like Fister over Johnson as well. I will continue to play the Tigers until their bats cool off.

Under 8 SF Giants - CHI Cubs -110

A couple things here. 1. Vogelsong is better than what his first start shows. 2. Chicago has really struggled to put up runs this year. 3. San Fran has to travel from west coast to Chicago and play a day game. With all this I see two offenses that should struggle and play a low scoring game maybe in the 3-1 area.

Over 8 NY Yankees - CLE Indians -110

I agree with SimonDog when it comes to the Yankees offense and the Cleveland pen. Yesterdays day off does help, but shouldn't really matter. The reason I'm not play the Yankees as I tried to yesterday before it got postponed is that Hughes is by far the worst pitcher in this rotation and I can't trust him at all. I think both teams get to the pens fairly early in this one.

Like the Giants here, they are batting really well and i hope they will continue with the hot batting today against a week pitcher like Feldma.
Cubs are one if the worst teams batting in the MLB.

Like the Orioles lineup against a pitcher like Aceves in a hitters ballpark, plus the Sox used 5 bullpen pitchers yesterday.

Vogelsong is a great bounce back pitcher after a poor start.Feldman is just not a good pitcher.I believe throughout his carreer he has allowed 4 runs or more in close to half his starts.

Over 9.5 BOS Redsox - BAL Orioles +109

I believe both offenses will be able to put up runs against these pitchers.

Over 7 SD Padres - LA Dodgers -105

Holbrook is an over ump, and the line movement is the same as tuesday when I thought it would go under and it went over.Hopefully that mistake pays off today.

that is tru, my book has not had the rangers as favorites since this line has opened.....did you mean +130 Simondog?

little bit weary on the giants game since they just swept and are traveling.. but vogelsong has great lifetime #'s vs the cubs except soriano... and they're rolling right now.. i'll fade scott feldman and play the ML scutaro and posey starting to swing bat well

dodgers just seems easy, not over thinking it, greinke is going to have a great year, and jason marquis has his days but overall is not a good pitcher.. dodgers should open the bats up today

last one is a play against dan haren.. he's been terrible lately.. like a year and a half lately.. dono why he's getting much respect.. unless he magically turns things around whitesox should tee off..

Dan Haren is not nearly as bad as his first start would indicate, and I look for him to bounce back and give a solid performance.  Dylan Axelrod is not nearly as good as first start would indicate, but if he can pitch half as well as he did last Saturday he'll help keep this one low.  Axelrod has a low ERA (2.13) on the road, and Haren pitches well against the Sox (2.45 ERA the last two seasons). 

Both teams are currently in the bottom half of MLB for runs scored so far this year. and I expect a score closer to Tuesday's 5-2 than last night's 8-7.

oh an musicmatt.. the team totals on bookmaker don't add up on tex/sea.. chw/wash/ and oak/laa as far as i can see.. there all .5 runs off from the over unders. and on betonline they're all mostly off by .5 runs except lad/sd game.. so definitely not always right, still time for the lines to adjust though

Nationals are dominant the second time around the lineup.  They manufacture runs.  They have dominated the White Sox bull pen.  Haren is better than his last start (maybe pressure from being with this Nats team) and I don't buy Axelrod just because he did well against a subpar Mariners lineup.  The key to this win is getting to the pen first.

 

I'm not sure I can buy the Angels to win quite yet, because they have not figured out how to produce runs.  I like the chances of this pick and I think it comes at a value (due to their current point production).  The reasoning is that the Angels are putting up runs; except when they need them. 

Here is the list of RUNS - HITS for the Angels since the start of the season:

 

  • Game 1:  4-9
  • Game 2:  4-11
  • Game 3:  2-6
  • Game 4:  8-12
  • Game 5:  3-10

The Giants/Cubs game was .5 off as well and the over hit.

Also, in the Nats game tonight, both TT Overs are favored odds....  I think that is the only one like that tonight.

on bookmaker team totals on NYY-CLE are 1 whole run below the o/u.. o/u at 8.5 team totals at nyy 4 cle 3.5..

if are trend of 1 day holds up lol.. we should see some overs in these games, we shall see, not betting on it but observing.. 
i do agree with the over on the nats game though.. as you beautifully explained cliff bout the nats offensive production.. i'm not a fan of dan haren, he's not what he use to be, he use to be a good pitcher.. we'll see my man! good luck though, love your team total picks again!
