This line opened at 6.5 and is now at 7 , but with a big majority of people on the over, the over is still being dealt at +100.I'll take my chances with 2 pitchers that do well in the the day in a pitchers ballpark.

Brandon Morrow is a very good day pitcher and is the ace of this staff in my opinion. He doesn't give up too many long balls and the Tigers haven't proven to me that they can string together hits consistently.

Tim might be getting back on track this year, that is still to be seen. This low of a number at the #1 hitters park in the league. Last night with two better pitchers than we are seeing today they put up 6. I like this one to go over, expecting 9-10 runs.
say what?? since when has At&t become the #1 hitters park in the league?? maybe #1 worst place to hit.. and in my opinion.. no f ing chance lincecum is better than bumgarner.. maybe he was, but it's not even close now a days. your opinion may be right by all means.. but it's not because Sf is the #1 place to hit lol.. anyways good luck man.. your write up confused me though

Miami blew early chances and allowed Maholm to really get his control down and it was uphill from there. stranded 4 in the first 3 innings. When they are playing good, the Under seems to be the play more than the ML. These guys just looked bad with runners on, they tightened up everytime.
Seattle played great defence, flared some hits into the gaps and executed a sui squeeze. They were on tonight. Houston didnt play bad though and humber threw a lot of strikes and gave them a shot. Saunders surprised and was the difference maker. I anticipated him turning it over to pen by the 5th, Instead he was able to have Houston leave 7 on base.
Fortuitous Under in the pirates game gets another 1-2 day. Shaking it off today!

Thanks for the imput ashylarry!no doubt man, but that's my point exactly.. The astros/marlins for instance, i can't trust their starters because lack of defense behind them kills victories.. little things like a catcher sailing a ball advancing a runner to third less than 2 outs... booted ball at shortstop.. ball in the backstop runner advances.. missing cut off men etc.. and when they actually do have a chance to score like you said they tense up and can't get em in.. and when they ACTUALLY do get those men in they have a suspect bullpen and can give it up late haha...
just way too many factors to trust with bad teams... and why i said only these 2 teams.. like rockies.. big bats small ballpark.. padres big ball park plays unders etc... the twins are surprising, mets are ok mariners and indians, pirates, cubs etc they all compete..
it truly is only the marlins and astros haha.. don't mean any disrespect by any means.. i'm just explaining to the thread why i would never back those 2 teams.. might have over 100 losses this year lol
and for sure, Saunders pitched great last night, surprised me too... but he was playing a high AAA team in my opinion lol.. even lucas harrell letting me down lately.. poor astros long way to go.
but seriously.. glad to see you posting and discussing things man,
like Mavin said, it's all about bettering ourselves and helping ourselves become better handicappers and people at the same time

I have to agree with Ash here, no way is AT&T the best place to hit, it is considered a pitcher's park, coors field that would be considered the #1 hitter's park.And Baumgarner is better than Lincecum at this time.

It's been a minute since the Twins have thrown KC a good beating. I feel like tonight it happens. The Royals haven't faced Pelfrey while the Twinkies are plenty familiar with Guthries stuff. With Morneau and Mauer having outstanding success facing him. These two bats alone should be enough to get the job done.

The way I feel about this game I just couldn't pass this up. Of course I felt good about my decisions yesterday too until 0-3 smacked me in the face. I can tolerate losing the dog plays, but losing the juice is what gets me hot

Beckett on the mound still trying to regain some the magic he once had.. Those day might be behind him, but he is a good quality #4 starter.. Gonzalez is starting to hit and will be in a familiar place tonight.. The dimensions of the park have changed a little this year but by no means is it gonna be a hitters park.. Today is a day game though so the marine layer won't really come into effect today.. I expect Kemp to get things going today as well.. The overall factor is that San Diego can't hit.. They will struggle to put a run or two IMO..

Once again I am making a play against a team who has yet to prove that they can hit consistently on a daily basis. Mcdonald isn't horrible, but I believe McCarthy is in a different class than him.. I think that getting rid of Upton has maybe helped this team, because they don't have the distraction now. Goldschmidt is primed for a huge year and the Backs are scoring runs, something the Pirates have failed to do..
S.F. Giants/Colorado Rockies Over 7 -115
Nicasio hasn't really proven himself as a good quality starter yet, he has had some good games but can be inconsistent.. Let's face it Lincecum is not the pitcher he once was.. He can still be a quality stater, but he isn't a perennial Cy Young candidate he once was.. He definitely doesnt have the control he once had, as he gave up 7 BB against the Dodgers in his 1st start.. I see the bats getting the best of both pitchers tonight and look to see 9-10 runs scored in this game..

braves are a play against the marlins.. expect medlen to bounce back here.. he didn't really even pitch bad his first start so he should be chomping at the bit to get a W here.
under 3 on the mets.. simply put cliff lee.. not only did he dominate the braves first outing.. he's got awesome #'s vs the mets including his last 2 starts 16IP 3 er 19 k's.. i'd put PHI-1.5 here but not sure i can trust phils to put run support up but i trust cliff.
under sd-lad is a play on the pitchers and ballpark.. clayton historically gives his best efforts at home and dodgers have been scuffling lately, why i didn't like LAD ML enough to bet it, but i do trust beckett to be able to throw a quality start or better vs this group of padres hitters.. i'll say Dodgers win this 4-2.

I apologize its been a long week already and it's only Tuesday. For some reason I thought this was a home game for Colorado. I still like the over though. I think it's about time to see San Fran put up some runs and Colorado has been pretty impressive early on.

Rockies slugging righties very well this season. Nicasio has good splits away from Coors. Edge to Rockies' lineup. Their bullpen has been solid too.

Great dialogue today gents. Yankees bats are alive and no one took the Team Total bet? I know Mavin talked about this on opening day so I've been watching.
And the dialogue will get better with more games to come as on NBA people here are getting used to each other and starting to trust each others opinions. I have no doubt it will get better and we'll get better in the process. Yankees TT will become more and more attarctive as the season will advance too0

Miley has great numbers in day games and vs Pirates. Arizona batters good vs Sanchez. Sanchez not a reliable pitcher at all. Pittsburgh bullpen used a lot lately. Rolling with the home team after blowing the lead yesterday.
SF Giants ML -140
Zito great numbers vs Colorado. On the flip, Francis struggles vs a lot of the SF lineup and has a 5+ ERA vs the Giants. Edge to SF bullpen.
