Why is it that everyone and their brother bumps this thread up when he's in a slump...but it takes a Yankee fan to bump it when he does good? I know it's just 1 game...but seriously?
No one in this forum cares. It's only me bumping this thread. I was about to bump it but not surprisingly you beat me to it because you are on the computer 24 hours a day. The last time I checked, you have 42411 posts. Now you have 42757. Simply unreal!
Anyway, I was gonna bump this thread to congratulate Mark Teixeira. He probably read my thread and told himself that enough is enough. Kudos Mark! Finally you did something right! That being said, this is the Baltimore Orioles we are talking about, the worst team in the Majors.

I'd love to know the problem with spending more time on here than others. Do you find yourself "better" than me because you have less posts? I don't exactly understand.
And...for what it's worth...I wasn't the one who bumped this thread...nice observation though.

I don't like the guy. I think he is fake. But like my dad said years ago.....the most important stat is RBI's. And is not lacking there.
Of course he is fake. He had the choice to join his hometown Orioles but abandoned them for the Stinkees. And for what? For money.
He could be part of the Orioles' rebuilding effort but oh no this guy wanted the easy way out. He thought to himself, 'hey I can get a fat contract with the Stinkees and I also have the best chance to win a World Series ring, that's killing 2 birds with 1 stone! You know what, screw the Orioles! I am signing with the Stinkees tomorrow!'
Thats not what legends are made of. If let's say the Orioles won the World Series within 5 years with Mark part of it, now that would have been one hell of an inspirational story. His name would be forever etched. People will remember him 50, 100 years down.

less money and lose
vs
more money and win
not exactly a tough decision and a decision 99% of players would make

Time for another monthly review of how this piece of shit fared.
25 for 100(.250) 19 runs 6 doubles 5 home runs 14 RBIs 20 Ks
Thats even worse than in May!
His May stats: 33 for 118(.280) 22 runs 5 doubles 6 home runs 25 RBIs 19 Ks
And just as horrible as last June: 25 for 95(.263) 14 runs 10 doubles 4 home runs 16 RBIs 12 Ks
That is now 3 months of epic failure! 4 months including the postseason last year!
Like I said before, the postseason last year was the beginning of the end for him. Nothing has changed. He's sucking like no one else can and for his sake, I hope he gets a major injury soon and retire.
What a wash-up has been he is. My grandma really would have owned his ass in a home run derby competition.
