FG – Braves 1254 – Ritchie/Gilbert PAYOR. 

OK, I must be a blind squirrel to not recognize the power of the Mariners here. They just got swept by the Royals (not easy to do) and in their prior homestand went 3-3 vs the Athletics and Rangers. They are 10-10 on the season at home and 16-19 overall. Gilbert is 1-2 at home with a 4.67 era. This makes them a big favorite over a hot Braves team that has won six straight starter vs starter matchups with right-handed starters? In those six games they have an offensive era of 6.9 vs the right-handed starters. The Mariners do NOTHING comparable. Skip the urban legends and mythologies, I like the Braves.

FG - White Sox +125 Martin/Soriano

Angels are fading faster than a cheap T-shirt. Nothing against Soriano, but Martin is a match for him. Sox do not fear the road (9-10) and the Angels are no bargain at home (6-9). I will take the hotter club with the hotter bats.

I thought about this one for a minute. 

Will Soriano bounce back? He could. 

Is Martin one of the best pitchers around right now that's flying under the radar? He is.

The only thing that turned me off the side AND total, is that these clubs just faced each other, including both starters in their last outings. Weird shit sometimes happens.

Why are the Padres only -129 vs a AAA call up?

McDonald had a 5.40 era, 1.53 whip, 12:15 K/BB pitching for the Sacramento River Rats(great team name).

Vasquez had a couple rough outings vs good teams this year, but has looked amazing vs shitty clubs. And Jeg's giants certainly fall under the "shitty" category. 

The Giants have lost 6 in a row. In this stretch included a rain out, a double header, and 3 extra inning games. One of which was yesterday, in Tampa Bay. Traveled last night all the way back home to SF.

Tell me a worse spot than this? You can not use the time when you went on a vacation to Hawaii with Jeg and BDC for Cince De Mayo.

Gilbert got lit up by the first batter for a homer.  1 to Nada.

And 3 more in the 6th.  4-0

Why leave the starter in after he walks even 1? Wow..
