I just added two dimes on the Brewers to win the Series in 6 games despite knowing that no team in the World Series has ever won two games in a row after falling behind 3 games to none. But, I did get +755. It’s basically a 3-team parlay on the Rays tonight and again tomorrow and then the Brewers on Friday.
I’m on the Brewers to defeat the Rays in the World Series

Rays +113 for 2,000
Rays +111 for 13,000
Rays +110 for 5,000
Rays +108 for 10,000
Rays +111 parlayed to under 7 EV for 1,000
Brewers/Rays under 7 +110 for 20,000 (Circa)
I didn’t actually like the under THAT much, but that was the Circa limit and I got excited when they changed from even money to +110. I wish I’d risked only half that.

I appreciate the transparency in this World Series, bator. Hoping we see more of it in the future. Can you give some insight as to why brewers in 6 was something you believed in so much?

BoomMoneyInBANK, l felt the Rays would most likely win 2 out of 3 at home while the Brewers would win all of their home games.
I simply believed that the Brewers were going to win the World Series and that there would be NO Game 7.

Well…….l don’t recall a World Series elimination game quite like that one. The mighty Brewers were three outs away from glory until suddenly the resilient Rays actually put together some hits and delayed the party for at least one day.
The Rays refused to go out like punks. They still couldn’t hit much, but they never caved in like we’ve seen so many teams do when they’re down 3 games to none and feeling sad.
Game 5 will also be very difficult for the Brewers to win.
By the way, I waited patiently for hours for my under 7 +110 to not win, lol.

I hedged the full amount and also made 5k... thanks a bunch legend
I make only occasional in-game bets, and they're almost always small like the ones I placed during Game 4, but you made a HUGE move during Game 4! Glad to hear that!

I'll say pride, but more appropriate would be anger. The Rays didn't just get beat last night. They got trounced. Embarrassed. Humiliated. An incredible seven straight 2-out hits turned a 2-0 deficit into a 10-0 wipeout. I know some prefer to dismiss regular season results, and it's okay if you feel that way, but I still think it's worth mentioning that since April 22nd, the Rays have gone 8-1 at home after losing at home by 5 runs or more. Their last failure occurrred way back on June 3rd when they followed up an 8-0 home loss to the Tigers with a 7-2 loss to the Tigers.
Since that June 3rd home loss, the Rays have gone a perfect 9-0 at home following a home loss by more than one run, and that includes their Game 2 win over Cleveland after they lost Game 1 by a score of 7-3.
For me, those results - almost all of them from the regular season - left me needing no further convincing that the Rays were not going to give up following the embarrassment of Game 3. Throughout the four hours plus of Game 4 I was actually impressed by both teams and how they refused to buckle. The buckling finally did happen, though, when the game went so long that the back of the bullpens got involved.

So on this Brewers to win the series in exactly 6 games prop I'm now up to 12,410 to win 55,640.

BrewCrew let the Rays back in. Tomorrow is going to be insane. Shoulda closed them out.
If there is even one baseball historian inside that Rays clubhouse, then the team will certainly draw inspiration from the 2004 Red Sox, who like the Rays were thoroughly embarrassed in Game 3 at Fenway Park by the Yankees by a shocking final score of 19-8, but then clawed and fought and scratched before finally prevailing in 12 innings in Game 4 to keep their season alive. Game 5 of that series was another supreme battle that lasted 14 innings with the Red Sox winning again.

Given the series action you’ve got MrB, TB again in game 5 or do you plan to sit tight and hope for a Rays win only to give it all away at American Family Field as you originally predicted in game 6?

I'll take the Miz tomorrow for the Win...![]()
Are you shewwerrrr you wanna do that? Jacob Misiorowski averaged 1.44 strikeouts per inning during the regular season, but in his three postseason starts he's averaging just 1.05. His average start during the regular season was right in between 5 and two-thirds and 6 innings. In October he's lasted 4, 4.1, and 5 innings. And all three of those came at home, where he sported a tiny 1.52 ERA during the regular season. On the road he was still great, but not quite as great with an ERA of 2.15.
So while evidence grows that the 24-year old Misiorowski is tiring at the end of his first full big league season, an even bigger challenge looms. For the second straight night, the Brewers will be road favorites vs. a team that owns a home winning percentage this season of over .680! My Covers brothers, you do not want to invest in road favorites that are up against any team that wins almost 7 of every 10 home games. Actually, you don't want to invest in road favorites that are visiting any team that wins more than 60% of their home games, and these feisty Rays are now 59-28 this season at the Trop.

I'll probably be on the Rays again. The home dog price vs. the weakening Misiorowski sounds right up my alley. As it is, I already have 12,410 riding on them tonight via the Brewers in 6 prop.

Who does TB start tomorrow since Martinez pitched tonight? Their pen is taxed, very dynamic circumstances for both teams. Surprised Drohan was the best guy for the job to close it out tonight but Murphy suggested he wanted to see lefty versus lefties in the postgame press conference.
