2-11 in my last 13. Probably fade material at this point.
Reds/Astros Under 9 -112
Since the calendar changed to May, both of these teams have really struggled offensively. The Reds were probably overachieving in April, and now that they've dropped 7 in a row, I think this is more like the team they really are. They aren't hitting like they were to start the season, and Burrows, while having not great numbers overall, has been better as of late. He has swing and miss stuff. Lodolo is back from injury so not really sure what to expect, but last year before getting hurt, he was really good. Astros bats have cooled off, especially against lefties. Wind is blowin in from right, so that helps with the hitter friendly park.
Athletics/Orioles Over 9.5 +100
The O's got shut down by the Yanks two series ago, but other than that, the offense is starting to hit. Alonso is finding some power, and Rutchman is in the line up tonight. They moved Henderson off the lead off spot tonight, hopefully that gets him going. Since May started, the As have second best OPS in the month, behind only the Yankees. Langiliers is back, and they just put up 12 yesterday. This team can hit. Their bullpen stinks though so they play in a lot of high scoring games. Orioles pen is bottom third of the league too. Gonna be a perfect night in Baltimore.
Tampa Bay Rays +112
The Rays being a dog is scary, cause they are hotter than hell right now, and it isn't like Boston and Conner Early are some sort of world beaters. I don't see anyone missing from the Rays line up, so I'm taking the bait, and praying for the best.
Yankees/Brewers Under 7.5 -115
Two of the best pitchers in the league toe the slab in this one. Fried has only given up 3 ER in his last 19.1 IP, striking out 20. The Brewers got Chourio back, and the offense seems to be riding on his back, but they are the second worst offense in baseball vs lefties. Misiorowski, very similar. He's given up 6 ER in his last 21.2 IP with 31 Ks. Both bullpens are very good too. I think we get a good ole fashioned pitchers duel to kick off the weekend.
St. Louis Cardinals +124
Cardinals are one of the hottest teams in baseball right now, 8-2 in their last 10. McGreevy is their best SP right now, and he's going tonight. The Cards bullpen has really started to piece things together. Soriano has been great in the 7th, Romero in the 8th and O'Brien in the 9th. It's been working well. They all pitched last night, but very lite work, so would imagine they are available again. The Padres are good, but they aren't hitting. It will come at some point, Machado isn't going to hit .202 all year. Tatis will hit HRs at some point, but right now, they are searching for answers.
Atlanta Braves +102
If Chris Sale and this Braves line up were a dog vs Jesus and the disciples, I'd still take the Braves.
