LV what’s up next for you or you done? 

Sunday baseball is definitely weird. We’ve had some good Sundays, but it is the last day of my week. I looked at every game on the card today, then put everything on the back burner because I locked in on the Fish.

I did find an edge earlier in this Atlanta-Milwaukee game, so maybe we pivot there. Let me look at this shit for a minute.

Anyways I was just curious were you have to be from Vegas or get a "proxy" always been a dream of mine and for $1500 or whatever you get a season long sweat. You could definitely do it bro, $harp as a fkn tack. 

Gonna be a good one tonight. Mahle has been pitching with a chip on his shoulder and I haven't looked at the splits or whatever but definitely feel like they will be heavy Brew.

The first half of the chessboard is out on Milwaukee, and I actually like what I’m seeing for Tyler Mahle. The one concern with Mahle has been right handed bats doing more damage against him, but Milwaukee is sending five lefties to the plate tonight.

Mahle has been much better since going to Atlanta, and his underlying numbers support the recent improvement. Now I want to see how Atlanta builds its lineup against the lefty Drohan.

Look, I don’t like pressing extra bets just to press them, especially on a Sunday. But this is what I’m looking at right now.

Milwaukee is sending five lef handed bats at Tyler Mahle, and that actually fits him well. Lefties are hitting just .223 with a .661 OPS against him this year, while righties have been the ones doing the damage. Mahle is also pitching his best baseball of the season right now  .188 average against in August, 0.91 WHIP, 25 strikeouts against four walks, and a 1.45 ERA in his first three starts with Atlanta.

Now flip it.

Atlanta is giving Drohan six bats that will hit from the right side. And I really like that 6 through 9 pocket with Thomas, Dubon, Riley and Murphy. There’s no easy bottom of the lineup for him to cruise through.

Drohan is a real pitcher. I’m not trying to make him into some gas can. His underlying numbers are actually good. But his sinker has been getting hit hard, and if Atlanta stays off the good fastball-slider stuff and makes him come into the zone, there is damage there.

The one thing holding me back from going crazy is Atlanta’s offense has been cold. That’s real too.

I’m gonna go water some plants in the garden as the kids say, touch some grass and then take another look at this.

I definitely think there’s an edge here, but Atlanta’s offense gives me a little chill right now. I’m dead even with the book, so I don’t need to force anything, but it would be nice to grab a couple bags.

I’ll revisit it in about 30 minutes with fresh eyes.
