Not sure if this has been mentioned but a nice trend that I have used to my advantage is teams coming off a loss of 14 points or my have a very high covering rate the next week. Haven't back tested but read it towards the end of the last year somewhere and its been huge this year thus far. Figured I'd share, even though I don't have the specific numbers to back it up.

The concept makes a lot of sense. Many times, as I'm sure all you bright and fine gentlemen are well aware of, the betting public overreacts to a loss and the team that lost the previous week by 2 or more touchdowns are a healthy dog the next week.
