Morning to all on this thread...although I am still grinding my $$$$ play for Thursday night in the Yankees. Up 2-1 and literally just got 4 hits and ran themselves into 2 outs somehow. Graveman gives up 8 hits in 5 innings. Capped it great, may not get there with these last 2 innings. Hope everyone wakes to another Pimp Nation $$$$ play.

Crazy Friday for me (non gambling) so I wanted to post some thoughts.

1. I will play Jake and Cubs somehow vs Peavy (My Fade List) Not sure what the line will be etc. I will watch the board and see what value they come up with. I missed the Astros TT Under...that was a great call by someone.

2. Fade Perallta...7-1 against him and I will find a play in that game too.

3. I watched Gonzalez pitch last start and he looked terrible...without investigating this play, the OVER here looks like a solid play. Both teams are hitting a little and I have NO faith in Santiago.

4. Two HOT Teams: Philly with NOLA on the hill and Cleveland with Kluber....Look, Fade the Braves is NEVER a bad idea, and I have spoken several times I think Boston is playing above their talent and Cleveland is under performing. Cleveland swept the pitiful Reds and lets see if they can keep it going.

5. Fade the REDS....let's look at that pitching matchup...niot a huge fan of Iwakuma, but the Reds are dead. and I see no lifeline coming anytime soon. Vote is a beast but only hitting .215 and Mozart only hitter over .300 LOL they have Billy Hamilton batting 2nd Nuff said there!!

Good luck to all and I think everyone had a decent night on Thursday, sans the 1 run W by White Sox.

I found this write-up about the Falkenberg/AIK game ... it seems that it's at Falkenberg, not AIK ... these eff'n soccer sites -- the home/visitor teams vary, being either on the left or the right sides, so I can never tell which are home and which are away.

This is the site that I'm using to find soccer games. What I'm doing is to look up the standings to look for the bottom-most team to find teams that are good fades, then to try to find top-tier teams playing against the bottom, fade-worthy teams.

I was summoning my inner Newmi and stumbled across a Serie B matchup between Pescara and Latina. Basically looks like a David vs. Goliath as Pescara (3rd) is 6-0-1 in last 7 and Latina (17th) is 1-3-3. There's a huge difference in club size as I think Pescara's stadium holds 20k while Latina's holds maybe 7,000. The crazy thing is Pescara is being offered at -105 and the only thing I can see as to why they are not bigger favourites is because the two sides have split their matches over the last 3-4 years. This year however, it is clear which team is superior. Obviously I don't know enough about the league to tip but ... does Goliath win this time?

Very sophisticated system! What's really funny is I did the exact same thing on that same site.

Lakerz, I'm in the opposite part of the state as you, and one thing I've learned is to ignore the wind factor in Oakland home games at night. The Giants too. On a hot, sunny day, the wind will help, but not at night.

Pimp, did you do any White Sox ML to make up for the RL loss? It does help if your team only wins by 1 instead of 2 or more. You can lose more, but you can win more, and you do have the insurance of protecting yourself if they win by 1. Putting them in a parlay using the ML serves a similar purpose. But don't kick yourself for failing to do that--I've learned it's hard to think of everything while posting here regularly.

I think most of us did have a good day. The White Sox RL came close to making it a great day. (I knew about the lead-off triple but not the home run taken away from us.) I think that somehow it really helps to start the early day off with a nice Newmi win, like we did today. Newmi we could use your help this morning--I'm reluctant to rely on Mozart's (and my) system of merely looking at the standings and playing a high tier team over a bottom team.

@Mozart Yes, us crazy Europeans always put the home team to the left.

I would have jumped on the AIK away win earlier this week (at -115) if it wasn't for the minor chaos prior to the derby game against Djurgården this past monday. AIK manager Alm was fired under very unprofessional circumstances and replaced just a couple of days before the most important game of the season. I was a bit unsure how things would turn out but the derby was a demonstration of power against our antagonists. However, as the final whistle blown and the game ended 2-0, the odds for this game against Falkenberg went from -115 to -143 in a heart beat, and is now around -150. No value there in my opinion, therefore no play.

But, you were thinking about the over here and I do see why, and I think it could be a good play. But there are some questionmarks. Falkenberg are without 3 of their strikers due to injuries and suspension. Also, AIK scores a lot from set pieces, both goals in the derby for example, one free kick and one header on a corner. But for todays game important set piece specialist Stefan Ishizaki (used to play for LA Galaxy if anyone know MLS here) is suspended for this game. Without his delivery on set pieces that definitely weakens that offensive weapon. Also it's at -140 which is probably a correct odds anyway.

So, I will lay off this game, but did just put in a wager on AIK ML away against Gefle on monday at -110. Then Ishizaki will be back. Your bookies probably don't offer odds on the game yet, and when they do it may already be at -125 or higher. I'm not sure yet if I'll make this a $-play, but there's definitely value to -110 in my opinion. As AIK is my team I usually avoid betting on them to win (or lose), but due to Gefles horrible form (1 point in 8 matches), some injuries and now a suspension to another central midfielder, I couldn't pass on -110.

I will have a look at sundays matchups to see if there's anything interesting.

@Mozart what do point in favor of the over is the fact that Falkenberg have scored in 7 straight games, despite losing most of them. They've also scored in 4 of 5 games against AIK since joining Allsvenskan two years ago, with all of them going over 2.5. I did however like the way AIK defended against Djurgården, and the way keeper Carlgren acted as well.

I'm laying of this game for now though.

MLB thoughtsAt first glance I&#x27;m diggin the Pirates TT over, Blue Jays ML (-125), orioles / Angels game total over 8 (-120).... NHL initial lean is over 5 Pitt/TB.  Love the Penguins over 2.5 just not sure what the price is going to be yet.

$$$$ Pittsburgh TT over 4 $$$$&#x9;Pittsburgh offense has really been coming on lately, playing the braves pitching will tend to do that for a team, and here come the rockies in to town with a pitcher (Butler) who has struggled throughout his career(5.83 era) and has struggled this year as well (4.74). Most of the time that high era is due to Coors field, but Butler has been equally unimpressive on the road(5.18), but one thing Butler has got is nice run support. Wont be easy but i do like the hot hitting pirates to go over in this game.. GL to everyone.$$$$ Pittsburgh TT over 4 $$$$

I had a good day yesterday and while I had many plays, including a few unposted parlays, I get to hit most of them. Had not for the cubbies, I would have taken the home run with me.

az is starting corbin. 1-3 4.14 era 1.32 whip. Last time corbin was pitching against stl, he was murdered out there. The guy lasted just 5 innings and giving up 7 runs.

stl is starting martinez. He is 2-0 with a 1.93 era when starting against the snakes. Although he has lost 3 of his previous starts, it doesn't mean that he will continue to lose.

The difference here is that stl has offense. They are ranked 3rd in the league with about 5 runs per game. To make matters worst, martinez pitches well against right handed batters and the snake is mostly right handed. He pitches so well that he has not allowed a homerun by the snake crew.

Martinez is 8-2 his last 10 starts against NL west.

Red Sox TT over 4 (-120)This week 1-1-1$$$$ history 4-2-1Man did I get smoked with my under yesterday, i think there was 8 runs by the 4th inning. This is why I typically don&#x27;t play unders, because in essence, you want both teams to suck, makes for a boring game to watch.But for today, its back to the ol&#x27; watering hole for me. Since this is my 4th $$$$ of the week, its also my last bet. So lets end the week on a good note.  I ill however, still post picks that I like.  I also bet on every pick that I post, so therefore I on&#x27;y post picks that I believe can and will cover/win.So here we go. Sox had a rest day yesterday, always good for hot bats. Indians pitcher (Kluber) ins&#x27;t a strong pitcher at 4.30 ERA. He is on&#x27;y 1-3 vs. the red sox and has let up 4 runs in only 4.5 innings last time he played against the mighty red sox. Red sox pitcher (Bucholz) is also an utter disappointment this season, constantly getting shelled often and early. He does, however, have some good innings and good games for that matter. Clay has had a little extra time to rest due to cancelled games. I expect him to give a strong performance at home tonight.Red sox bats are super hot right now. No matter who they play, Boggarts, Bradly Jr., and Ortiz are smoking the pitchers. I see a high scoring game tonight and expect both sides to put up numbers.  However, if Clay does pitch well, I can&#x27;t trust the Indians to score more than 3-4 runs. Therefore I trust that the red sox can at least score 4, if not more.If you aren&#x27;t feeling the TTover 4, then I would roll with the game total over 9.  But like I said, if red sox score 5-6 and Buchholz shuts down the Indians, then the game total busts.  With the Indians pitcher giving up at least a few runs every game, I have faith the red sox will not disappoint tonight. Last night I had to see the cashier to pay out, but I&#x27;m expecting her to pay out more ways than one.  Let get this!

It&#x27;s gonna a beautiful evening in Boston today. Cleveland is in town. They just came out of a 4 game set with Cincy where they just averaged 10.5 RUNS. Boston is back home. They just came out of a 7 game home set where they averaged 10.4 RUNS. Do the math there. That&#x27;s like 20.9 runs bruh. Now sprinkle in Clay Buchholz and Corey Kluber pitching and you have a nuclear explosion of runs in Boston tonight. Some other key news is that Buchholz was going to be demoted for this game!! Eduardo Rodriguez was supposed to pitch but he experienced a setback and was sent back to rehab.My only hesitation might be Kluber. He threw 2 absolute gems against Detroit this year. But other than that, he has been absolutely mediocre! He&#x27;s lost all other 6 games he&#x27;s pitched, including a 6-5 loss to Boston where he lasted 5.1 innings, gave up 9 hits, 4 runs, 1 HR and 2 walks. He&#x27;s been struggling with his control recently, and the whole Boston lineup has sniper patience and vision. $$$$$   CLE CAVALIERS -5 at TOR   $$$$$$This is a total mismatch.  Toronto&#x27;s big man Valucianis is going to be out for the rest of the series according to one of the post-game ESPN announcers last night.  Lowery definitely has a bad hip problem and cannot contribute.  Psychologically he and the team have little or no confidence.  Playing every other day and traveling gives them no chance to heal or counter CLE&#x27;s onslaught, which coach Casey admitted in a post-game interview last night.  CLE is totally focused on sweeping this series and winning the title.  TOR only has one scorer and CLE can limit his production whenever they want or need to.This is not David vs Goliath, but David&#x27;s little sister vs Goliath on steroids.  Neither the fans nor home court can propel her to victory.There are a lot of ways to make money here.  I have mentioned the $$$$ way, but you can also buy points, play the money line, tease, whatever makes you feel relatively safe.When it becomes official that Valucianis is out, the line is moving to 6.5 or 7, which is reason to play it now.  If somehow he plays on his bad ankle, I don&#x27;t think he&#x27;ll be able to keep up with the pace CLE will put him through.  Again, coach Casey himself said that playing every other day makes it difficult for the team to heal and to figure out some way to beat CLE, although they will try. I don&#x27;t play Italian leagues (corrupt!), so take this for what it&#x27;s worth.Pescara have little to play for since they have a playoff spot clinched.  Not sure how concerned they are with seeding.Latina need 3 points to completely secure safety, but 1 point should do it unless Virtus Lanciano win by 6 goals or more (they won&#x27;t).  So they have a LOT to play for, as if they lose and Lanciano win, Latina falls to relegation playoff spot.Just food for thought, I didn&#x27;t look into it any more than that. But that is DEFINITELY why the line is so tempting.BOL.............
