No, I don't. I didn't like anything about the shouting matches that went on and on in this thread and particularly yesterday's thread. I'm not looking to be worshipped (well, maybe once in a while, but who isn't?) and I certainly don't enjoy the frequent hate. I remember the days when I was a mostly anonymous poster, and I could talk about sports without drawing so many overly fawning and overly spiteful reactions. I've often thought about changing my username, but I know even if I made an effort to disguise my writing style, it wouldn't feel comfortable and I'd be detected sooner or later.
I don't need people telling me how great how I am, or how much I suck, or having both sides arguing about the subject. There are people here who give me far too much credit, and that draws people (like you) who can't stand to see someone getting credit they don't entirely deserve. So, CNote2, you got any suggestions for what I can do to make this awful situation more bearable for you?
