One CBB play- Oakland +3, line was +2.5 I bought the 1/2 point as I expect a close game, the m/l for 2.5 points was only +110 which I assume means most taking m/l and it is not worth it now, Oakland record is not good but they played tuff games to start season on the road. They might have the most road games this year, started out 0-9 and it looks decent but I have won 7 of last 8 bets so could be time to even out a bit. Just sayin.

I don't work on Monday's 

Tuesday to Friday, about 30 hours a week, get paid commission per case, in the union, health insurance and vested.

 Man, when it comes to a bet, nothing drives me more up the wall, than when the team you have a bet on has more opportunities of scoring, just to squander them and end up losing the game . That's one of the worst feelings, because even if you analyse the game well, at the end of the day it comes down to luck...

The Yankees are 29th in OPS. Dead last in BA at .193. And tied for 8th in most strikeouts at 66.

But wait, they are in 6th place for HR's per at bat!! One for every 19.82.

Is that really a formula for winning baseball?

 

The Yankees are striking out once for every 3.69 plate appearances. Close to 1 an inning.

Just imagine in the real world, your at your job and you say "fuck it" to 33% of work load. But one out of 20 times, my boss will appreciate me for something extraordinary.

The Polish mafia never got off the ground Jeg. They kept stealing from each other. And any moonshine that was being run was half gone by the time it got to where it was going. If it ever got there at all.

There's a 90% chance Key is on the Detroit and an 85% chance I'm on them too. And a 70% the line will be better closer to game time.

@Barney, those percentages sound right. I've been about 60 to 65% on the right side of line movement so far. Even when I'm not, oh well. If the movement pisses me off enough(like the Brewers today) maybe I'll hit it again.

 

Great call on the Brew Crew today - was listening to the game, Bob Uecker jumped in the booth late in the game - was great to hear him.

Bauer's breaking ball was awesome last start, despite one eye closed.

But he's no Funkhouser. Maybe we'll see the Funky one tomorrow.

I'm fine with them starting the 21 year old. Sure the kid has talent and a high ceiling, but he is raw as they come right now.

Spencer Turnbull had a rough 1st spring outing. I think he was shaking off some rust, he's a good arm. Great ground baller. The trajectory of his pitches aren't launch angle friendly.

Watching the Angels and Brewers game replay. Heaney was really placing his pitches, instead of letting them rip. All his offspeed stuff was being telegraphed. No wonder he got kerplunked
