Michael Kopech of the White Sox has decided to sit out the 2020 season. It's unknown if the Tommy John surgery is requiring longer rehab or not. As of now the decision is being reported as "personal reasons"

I will read up on it Tuck, thanks for the news. I made it sound like I was completely discounting it. But I still have reservations that whatever they're trying will revolutionize pitching. Pitchers still need to strike em out, ground em out or pop em out.

Yeh sac they have been throwing the ball at hitters for 200 years and unless they start changing the height or distance I can not see much changing in the way a pitcher pitches,unless we get a kid that throws 100 mph with each arm.

I'm OK, but it is nice to know you guys are concerned. I had a couple very busy days and then Friday morning our A/C went out with the temp headed for 112 degrees. I got the A/C guy in high gear right away and we got the hell out of Dodge, PRONTO. Fortunately my daughters house is only three miles away and the car has A/C of course, so we didn't get well done before we got there. We took some necessities but my laptop was not one of them, so I have been sort of incognito, or MIA if you prefer. I hate posting from my phone so I just didn't bother. All is well now, A/C is running fine and I spoiled us by bringing the temp down to where you could have hung meat. That has to stop, but the temporary feeling was great. We are only going for 109 today, but it will be staying up there for at least two months, possibly three.

I'm glad to see you again this year Sac. It's been so long since I've made a bet I'm not sure i want to give up all the time I've had since everything shut down. That burning desire just isn't there . Maybe I'll get it back. Betting baseball this year may be really tough . My plan was  to play one live dog (in my opinion) , & I really like betting 1st 5 totals man have things changed. Had a good year last year. Now i just don't know. I'm gonna be tailing you itl i feel comfortable  . GL on all your plays. 

Good to see you too. I'm not going to spend much time researching, I'll be shooting from the hip. That will probably eliminate plenty of over thinking. I don't miss betting much at all. Hopefully it's a fun year.
