In the past 25 years I have been outnumbered only once. We had a very lovable female German Shepherd that had "guard dog" all figured out. That meant that if she heard something outside at night it was her job to stay close to Mommy, to protect her, and it was MY job to go out and see what was going on. She would sit close, touching my wife, then keep looking at me, looking at the door, looking at me, looking at the door. That did not stop until I went to see what was up.

LC you had to bring up Dogs now,I have 3 of em and only one is male and he might be just behind me because the 2 girl dogs that sleep with my daughters he pisses on their bed when he can,love that Boy lol,so if you add dogs we are 5-5 and a Boy Dog that is always in the shithouse,

Peace and Love goes out to all you guys, especially the old timers. My old man kicked the can on Thursday, he was 75. Led a good life.

So the Giants had a game on the radio couple days ago was that another pre-season game for the second time this year or did I catch an old timers game,it was a short trip so did not figure out what was playing.

Btw, thanks for the kind words fellas. The Wake and Mass is tomorrow, and we are burying him in Poland where his folks and sister are at rest.

Can you make the trip sac? Is Poland OK with Covid-19 restrictions or do you have family there to attend to the details? 

My mother is. We're not sure if it will be feasible for me to go. There currently is a mandatory 14 day quarantine for anyone(citizen or not) upon arrival to the country. We are looking into it.

And yes Key, we have family and friends who are taking care of the burial arrangements across the pond.

sac hope you get to make the trip ut you miss alot of work,do not know your Funeral leave,mine is only 3 days so if I was working it would be a hit on 14 days plus do you have to stay in when you come home?But you should get disablity as it's a medical thing,maybe.

Poland is a member of the EU. Are they even allowing any U.S. Americans in? Europe is very serious about this. 

The borders are tight. The mandatory quarantine is strictly managed. Once in the country, you have to remain inside of the household/hotel room, no visitors, you can't leave, and all food/goods are delivered. Police make visits 3 times a day, if you're not there you get fined. If you break any of the rules you get fined heavily.

Once in the country, getting out is even more difficult(from what I'm hearing). In my mother's case, she has a house in Poland. She's retired. And has a few friends and family there. An extended stay for her wouldn't be a big deal. For me, I'd run into some problems.

Today, the Wake, Mass and lunch in went beautifully. I couldn't of dreamed of a better service. I feel like we sent off my father properly. He was a highly respected musician in Poland and here in Chicago. When we carried his casket out of the Church to Chopin's "funeral march", everyone gave him a standing ovation. That's when it hit me hard, but I've never been prouder of anything in my entire life till that moment.

That’s awesome Sac.  I remember my fathers funeral and thinking I had no idea he had this many friends.  People couldn’t even get in the door
