That was a lot of fun JEG. I hope you reviewed it and got a laugh out of it. Now I need an equally enraging topic for today. Any suggestions?

I usually surrender to the Blue Cheese, even though it causes my wife to throw a pillow and blanket on the couch and lock the bedroom door.

Tonight I am whipping up Italian sausage with cheese tortellini and Alfredo sauce and a nice Caesar salad. That may be meaningless to you guys but someone has to say something or let "our" thread die of old age. Hope that makes you drool, especially the Italian fisherman's grandson.

new_cool<----- 14 hour a day sunshine now but only 93 degrees. Beautiful day in the land of Diamondbacks (real ones) and Scorpions.

For a long time I wondered if my Pirelli tires were Italian or Hispanic, then I had a flat and it went wop, wop, wop. an_roll_laugh

Sac, just watched an interview with the Chicago mayor. How in God’s name did that moron get elected?

Is it too early to start talking 2021 season win totals?

Is Mookie ever going to swing a bat in a Dodgers uniform?

Will the Yankees still be "stacked"? Does Gerrit Cole sleep in his safe like Scrouge McDuck?

I was really looking forward to the White Sox and Yankees field of dreams game in Iowa. What town was that supposed to be in again? Heard they spent a lot of money on the field. Kind of IRONic when LC mentioned empty diamonds without any kids playing ball.

Beautiful day in the land of Diamondbacks (real ones) and Scorpions.  For a long time I wondered if my Pirelli tires were Italian or Hispanic, then I had a flat and it went wop, wop, wop.

Key, download the EarthCam App and pay the $4.99 xxxxxx fee to live cameras all over the world. One of them is the Field of Dreams original field and you can actually watch kids practicing live all day long. Best five bucks I’ve ever spent

Busy this morning L.C., but I will get to it later, thanx for the tip peace_5

Is it too early to start talking 2021 season win totals? Yes, at the rate they are going there may not be '21 season either.

Is Mookie ever going to swing a bat in a Dodgers uniform? Who gives a sh/t?

Will the Yankees still be "stacked"? Does Gerrit Cole sleep in his safe like Scrouge McDuck? Of course they will be "stacked", at least according to most of Covers membership. With Cole's money he can pretty much sleep anywhere he wants to. No need to be cramped in a safe, he can just hire the soldiers to guard him that Trump won't be assigning elsewhere.

Well ODB, I don't know how a gym can consider itself an essential business since people can exercise to heir hearts satisfaction without one, but at least it is in the courts and out of the politicians hands. That is some progress even if the courts sometimes don't make good sense either. I have enough problems with Phoenix/Mesa/Maricopa County going off the deep end without worrying about Chicago/Cook getting weird as well, but I do sympathize with you guys. Ever long the days of Richard J. Daley and the "machine"? What I wish you guys had was another Mike Royko (R.I.P.), he had that town wired and mic'd and could really lay it on your politicians.

Well, Sac, Seattle has just joined your city and mine as having a total moron as mayor. Where do they find these idiots and who in the hell actually votes for them? This is absolute lunacy. Everyone is lining up to kiss ass & confess their sins....

L.C., I have contended before that the U.S. drug problem is not the fault of the cartels, smugglers or importers. The good old U.S.A. supplies the market, and therein lies the problem. Merchants go where they can sell their goods and that explains the the drug market thrives HERE. Just like Prohibition was the best thing that ever happened to the Mafia. So much of America is on mind-altering drugs that probably explains where lunatic politicians come from and why they get elected. Governor Ducey of Arizona is next up in my case and I will bet dollars to donuts there will be no further attempts to restrict the economy in the face of the pandemic. Face masks are yesterday's fashion and no longer have a market. Dining out is in, and distance between tables or patrons is just a waste of space. The Zip code next door to mine has the highest infection rate in the state. We are being cautious but who knows? The young see a mask on an older person and just give us that "silly old folks" grin they love so much.

I haven't paid attention to the news/politics for 2 or 3 days. It turns my stomach too much. Just today more protesters marched down Montrose in Albany park for some reason. On the radio I heard that a Chicago cop got fired for flipping off protesters. Awwww someone got their feelings hurt. I single tear rolls down my face for those who were offended. The next story was that the Chicago Police Union boss is going to boot out any cops who kneeled with protesters.

What the F*CK man. Don't look at them, don't touch them, don't gesture at them or with them. On top of it, people want to defund the police all over the country.

What's next? When a cop helps get a cat out of a tree he'll be accused of sexually harassing it?

    On a lighter note...

Had a killer day of fishing. Caught 10 on a pond, then went to a lake nearby and got 6 more. The biggest fish was only 3lb 3oz, but the action was fun.

You gotta try the zman finesse jig ODB. I had a 2.75 inch TRD trailer on it, blue craw color. It's a perfect bluegill imitator. The bass would not bite anything else, just one of those days I figured it out early and it stuck.

I just don’t understand the BLM message when 90% of black murders continue to be committed by other blacks....WTF...?

You’re trying to force this slogan on the masses when you can’t convince your own race to believe it...

Unfortunately the managers of the asylum agree and are turning it over to them. Accept the advice of Padre Pio, Pray, Hope, and don't worry. The next generation or two or three will do what we did, contend with the world they are given, even if they do think we are at fault for everything they face. What they think is just something else that is beyond our control.

12:15 Saturday afternoon and no baseball. That means sac is fishing and the rest of you guys are drunk by now. Not to say that sac isn't drunk, many fishermen are by noon. haven't heard from JEG in a couple days. I hope he isn't busy driving a U-Haul to somewhere east of Texas that his wife and daughters thought would be a cool place to live. L.C. needs no excuse, at our age he do anything he damn well chooses. BigD is probably deep into research on the KBO thing, deciding if -300 is a good investment since they seem to hit over 75% anyway. ODB is probably trying out some new lure sac recommended. That about does it. Reason for the post? just to get that idiot curmudgeon off the top of the board.
