Cheers for Illinois. When this is is over you may again out-populate Texas. Massachusetts has a reasonable shot at Arizona. California has 70.4 people for every 1 in Wyoming. I wonder if Wyoming will narrow the gap?

I can just hear DeSantis talking to Trump right now, "You're sure this is going to work, right?"

There was a meme going around, that perfectly describes the current situation:

The spread of Covid-19 is based on two factors:

    1. How dense is the population.

    2. How dense is the population.

Commissioner of Baseball Robert D. Manfred, Jr. issued the following statement today:

“At my request, Tony Clark and I met for several hours yesterday in Phoenix. We left that meeting with a jointly developed framework that we agreed could form the basis of an agreement and subject to conversations with our respective constituents. I summarized that framework numerous times in the meeting and sent Tony a written summary today. Consistent with our conversations yesterday, I am encouraging the Clubs to move forward and I trust Tony is doing the same.”

Take it for what it is worth confused

"jointly developed framework that we agreed could form the basis of an agreement "

Therein lies the trap -> That could have been said three months ago. They need another delaying tactic but want you to think an agreement is imminent. There is a ways to go yet.

Sac started this back in November. Who could have imagined at that time how many different changes we would go through?

Did you not also make it a point to post #1,000? Is that what a gambler calls a "trend"? I don't know what the record is but the current leader in the Politics Forum is over 81,000. We aren't even close. No one here hates each other enough to challenge that. You can only go back and forth only so many times calling each other idiot in a baseball forum, especially when there is nothing going on.

    peace_5 Congratulations on the trend.

Excuse me, 81000+ was his views, only 3,200+ on posts, so we are much closer than I thought. Still have no idea what the record is.

You are the head of the best political ticket on the market. In the tradition of Mike Pence it is my duty and responsibility to keep the people informed of your glorious achievements and contributions to mankind. It is the least I can do.

JEG; the thing that always amazed me about "what's the score?" is that even the incredibly inept, ignorant and stupid on Covers would never take the hint/advice that there are multiple live score boards available you can keep in a separate browser tab or window. By the time you ask and three different guys respond you are going to get three different answers and all three will be wrong; because it took the guys time to post and it took time for you to read. I have the "Give me a break" attitude regarding those posts. Maybe I am too old or too experienced to worry about a two point swing in a two hundred point game; but rally threads, rally caps and reverse jinxes are ludicrous. No team rallies from 15 down to cover a +5 spread because a bunch of intellectually challenged degenerate gamblers on Covers started a "rally thread".

JEG: Long story short, they don't know WTF is going to happen but both sides are looking for a landslide. The Covers Political Forum is a walking, talking, breathing example of why a good many people should not partake of the franchise. Our only saving grace may be that we can hope ignorant/stupid cancels out stupid/ignorant in the election. If I were to use that forum as a handicapping tool, I would poll the contributors and fade the favorites resulting from the poll.

Key also couple other things about my last post,13 years ago Laptops were slower or desktops as they were more in use back then,I remember using CBS SPORTS FOR SCORES,MUCH BETTER BACK THEN AND GET ALL 3 SPORTS SCORES BY A CLICK.

Of course now with the new TVs all you have to do is click on button C on remote and it gives you all the scores when they have them again. And those Big Comebacks happen in CBB all the time,new_emoj_tounge  JORDAN

OK, sounds like we can vault "what's the score?" into the currently dumbest question on earth spot. Maybe some guy in a remote village of Africa or South America needs to ask because he does not have satellite internet, but that is the only possible excuse. Come to think of it, if he does not have satellite internet he probably can not communicate with Covers anyway, so is not gambling, and therefore the question is moot, and eliminates the need for that question at all.
