The 1%er can do whatever they want,I AGREE WITH THAT,THERE MONEY AND THEY CAN PAY OR OVERPAY WHOEVER THEY WANT,but GUYS WITH BILLIONS DID NOT NEED THE GOV'T TO GIVE THEM 434 BILLION MORE,BUT WE GOT MONEY SO YOU KNOW THEY WILL ALSO.

Koufax-Drysdale Banded together one year, how much did they think they needed to help each other to get,25,000,they wanted to get to 125,000 a year, guess on # of wins for 7 years they were together,45 to 50 a year,25,000an_roll_laughan_roll_laughan_roll_laugh.

The most vile things that were being said was about a guy that got up to 100,000 a year, race was involved in comments,Willie Mays-next time I heard people talking about a person of color same open way with no regard to who heard was Obama Winning twice, thought we live in MISSSSS.

Might be joining sac back in the trenches July 1,which is kinda perfect.an_angelnew_angelcool.

    real is wrong,

KEY on Pippin's contract, think it was 19,000,000 for 8 years,in the filming they give up some personel info on him, small town guy,3500 people I believe it was,12 children and the Father in a wheelchair when Pippin was 8 or so,then a brother in a wheelchair, now Jordan signed for 2.3 mill.a year, less years but by 2 years both had bad contracts.Jordn getting 40 mill.from shoes so that 19 million at the time took care of Pippin's whole family and bought him Mom a new house, with family history I see why he did it.

Buyers remorse is not the Bulls fault, before Catfish and then Flood players were screwed and owners took advantage of their position, but at a bit over 2 mill.a year Pippin needed those years for his NBA life style and set up 13 other people with 2 in wheelchairs,4 year deal at about 9mill.does not give Scottie his Mansion plus if he gets hurt,he saw his Dad and Brother in a moment screwed and some sports guys have lost careers in one accident,so he took a longer contract for fear of unknown but then College kids were getting 100 mill.out of school,he played for Central Ark,in college and was not 6FT when he went there and was not on the team as a Freshman,he was the Trainer's Ass.or something, but he was given a free ride when players did not make grades and got cut, after Soph.year he grew 5 inches and reached 6-7 height by Senior year and the NBA was watching.

Instead of being grateful for where he ended up he became a problem and treated the General Mgr.like crap and always asking for new contract.more money, the players we mention in Baseball Key,30 mill.a year today, took them 10 years or so to make a Million, also not everyone could get Namath benefits or Jenner, you needed one big thing for big money in ads or TV back then.

So now we have the Cowboys QB,has a contract signed base salary 2 mill.,I do not understand why are they even giving him a contract to reject,I understand why the Bulls did not give him a new contract,I remember him being a real locker room issue and missing most of first half of season because he waited to have surgery and it worked for Pippin,he wanted to piss them off and he did.Jordan under same until last 2 seasons and I remember the reporter asking him as they were walking off the court with 4th title,Mike what about your contract?MJ SAID"NOW THEY HAVE TO PAY ME" THEY DID.

With this Virus how do you turn down 175 mill.when you have no idea of future, take that money.Or does Jerry Jones know something we do not.HUHHquiet

    real is wrong,

If any of that made sense I would try to dissect it, but it seems to jump all over the place. I will leave it where I did before. Let it be. It is what it is. Not our business to analyze it or be judgmental about any of it. Peace. Enjoy the games.

Jeg I started a thread about Dak's situation in the nfl forum.

Key is right about the one side of contracts. Sometimes the teams win when they sign guys who outperform expectations. Pippen is a prime example. And what the Cowboys got from Dak in his 4 years for the cost has been good for them.

The player eventually wants more $, and deservedly so. But it's for what they have done, not for what they WILL do. It's a cruel business, and the team is usually looking ahead to the future. Player wise, and financially wise. No one is ever right until the dust clears.

Guy's like Miguel Cabrera, Albert Puhols, and Bryce Harper won. All though the Tigers, Angels and Phillies are in a financial bind for years to come.

Ok, enough all ready. Time to go fishing. I have some reel business to take care of. And before I forget, a big salute to the veterans of war who sacrificed their lives for our country.

My KBO “guess” for this evening

Wilson comes in to Hanwha sporting a nice 0-2 5.79 ERA but a bit unlucky in those 2 starts and very little run support.  Bell starts for Hanwha making his KBO debut for 2020 so I expect a strong outing coupled with some cold bats for the eagles.  Last outing putting up 5 runs but aided by a 3 run blast by an unlikely hit.  Eagles are still bottom of the league offensively

    under 9 is my play

No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing

Another expression from the old days that I believe started with fishermen, "the first liar doesn't stand a chance."

There is a guy at CBS Sportsline concentrating on the KBO and most online books are offering it if you look under international or other funky listings. It ain't rocket science fellas, I just don't feel the love myself. Good luck to Big D and anyone else that cares to participate.

JEG, you have tp read a day ahead because of the International Date Line. As I type it is 2:44 PM Tuesday for you and I. Next listings because of IDL for Korea will be Wednesdays games, and they will begin at 2:30 AM our time. A little tricky, but not rocket science.
