Well I have to feel a little sorry for Bill Sherman. A billion for the Royals has not produced a penny either.

Not to worry, ten years from now they will both be over it.

I'm sorry, but I got the impression your retirement was about to be high-jacked by a group of airy headed females. Just trying to protect you and your inheritance from me, all 10 bucks of it. Take a map, draw a line down the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers and FORCEFULLY tell them nowhere east of that line. Even that is risky; you could wind up in some God forsaken place like Arkansas or Louisiana. You have heard for years that a wise man must prepare for retirement and this is a good example. For the last five years or so I have heard nothing but reasonable prognostications from you; and now, out of the blue, I hear "EAST COAST'. The shock to my heart was almost unbearable.

Yeh I had liked and still do my plan for being off the job,my one Daughter threw an extra year of school on me with the Soft-Ware Eng.major being a 5 year affair,my other daughter who Graduated  1.5 years ago has been off my books since last summer and now I have extra time with second one which is not her fault plus a bit of a payroll dip but not terrible, the problem is now many years for our families to pay for the money being spent now to survive this and the fact the USA has split from our Allies and pulled away from the World Org.that were put together for this kind of stuff added to our weak reponse and increased risk.Dictators are running our world and I really hope the Countries are working together now but our free press just lies to us so much I can not even watch those 24 hour news shows.

All you Guys have good ideas on baseball and some kind of season and I would bet that your ideas or forms of it are being talked about by owners and TV with the Union involved as well and maybe they can figure out some kind of season after we find out if we can get out of our homes without this blowing up again. We do not really know where they are on the tests or a shot for this, like Key was saying the Politicians will get the blame due to them and maybe the  right people right people will get some things changed for the better.

A Pollock messing around in the commodities market? That's scary an_speechless

"Couple things here Key,my so called inheritance, use that for your 12 pack and maybe money sac is making hook you up,plus you have wrong name in Field of Dreams,"

JEG, when sac's (and your daughter's) generation gets around to paying the inflated deficit from this latest fiduciary fiasco ten bucks won't buy a twelve pack. Ten bucks might buy a cup of coffee but I have my doubts about that too. The retardlicans keep talking about the world they want to leave the next generation. What? Post war Italy? 5,000 lire for a loaf of bread?

On the other hand, maybe there is nothing to worry about. No matter how great the debt the rest of the world can't afford to bankrupt us anyway. Too dependent on the American cash cow.

Here we go AGAIN! I gotta look after both you guys.

JEG #!. It is BD_C -- BackDoorCover -- alphabet soup to you

sac #2, Cinco deMayo - the fifth of May - is the HUGE Mexican holiday that BD_C the (transplanted from Boston) Hawaiian celebrates by getting bombed on Margaritas and disappearing for months at a time.

We, JEG and I, have never heard a reasonable explanation why a guy living in Hawaii and in love will all things Boston and New England considers himself a Mexican one day a year. We love him though. My first day here, over 12 years ago, JEG had to break up what was headed for a no-holds-barred back alley dogfight. No sooner had JEG posted the treaty conditions and rules than BD_C and I posted reciprocal apologies literally within seconds, meaning we were typing at exactly the same time. All has been peace and love ever since (well, peace anyway). Those were the "good old days" when Mr OPC ran a little thing called the "5 inning discussion" thread and we among the early proponents of it. MR OPC eventually became VegasGourmet and then disappeared entirely after Covers mods pizzed him off again over some silly rule.

And there you have the composite history of the whole silly thing. Get your sh/t together.

Well, I'm in the hospital.... This has NOT been a good day, period. After spending the last six weeks quarantined inside the house, I decided to go horseback riding, something I haven't done in many years. It turned out to be a horrible mistake! I got on the horse and started out slowly, but then we went a little faster; before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off and caught my foot in the saddle stirrup, the horse was then dragging me. The horse just would not stop.

Thankfully the manager at Walmart came out and unplugged the machine. He actually had the nerve to take the rest of my coins so I wouldn't try to ride the Elephant...

I fell for the horse joke. Although, I was laughing for the first paragraph, then abruptly disappointed for the second.

sac, the horse joke is a symptom. Mental derangement is one of the continuing effects of cabin fever. One of our compadres has lost it. an_cry

JEG: Your post is now 12 hours old and sac has not responded. That must mean our millionaire oil market investor has gone out to the lake, climbed in his inner tube, thrown a line in the water with a bamboo pole and gotten into his styrofoam cooler for more than a few cans of PBR. Redneck Paradise. A man's home is where his heart is and that pretty much explains sac.

He claims to be only working 6.5 hours a day so not the job keeping him off here,I got an email from the GM today and looking like a few more months before they think about the plan for reopening which calls for not much business this year but selling for next year.So who knows.

That is a great picture of a boat you painted there, hope he finds food.

Woke up at 2am yesterday to drive 3 hours north to fish. Got off the lake at 5 pm. Home by 8 pm, bed by 9.

    Now I'm here.

It was hard controlling my inner tube with 20 to 25 mph winds in 3 foot waves. The seas were angry my friends, and Key, and Jeg.
