Thank you both for your inputs. The thing is that in crypto space there is a lot of buy the rumor sell the news mindset in my opinion. For example look what happened with bitcoin and halving.

Bitcoin was around 8500 at the halving 

Crazy action, someone came and smashed the bid and dropped it almost 1k in 5 minutes. It is interesting watching the algos try and take control and narrow the spread, the bias to these machines is higher...they keep stepping in to narrow the spread and move it up even when they were getting blasted by market sell orders. And when the algos were reeling the spreads were 20-30 bucks when normally the algos have it down to .01 cent.

BTC allowing futures and market involvement has completely polluted its movements and boxed it in.

Violent dump 

Sometimes they like to liquidate everyone that’s long before the next move up 

Sometimes it just dumps and dumps until I’m poor, depressed and crying 

The biggest problem is with Bitmex exchange, they have to fix their trading engine or the liquidation mechanism. They have a major difference in last price of the dump with the rest of exchanges.

Geezus, for the last 8 months or so, I see that 10k level really has been a point of resistance.  Sat around 10.1k, 10.2k last couple of days , then failed again.  You gotta think once it "firmly" breaks through to the upside,  it's gonna break hard.

This low volatility environment is a sign that we are going to get a pretty pumpy or dumpy start of the week. I am placing my bet for a volatility spike.

Feels like move to 7k or 12k coming 

In my opinion is more probable to go up from here, based on the action that we had in the last 3-4 days. It is like it loads fuel for the eruption. :)

Binance US is awful. There’s no volume. It took me 2 days to fill an order for RVN. 

I’ll keep this bag there but only KuCoin for me from now on.

Yeah and that is why I did not join. Without volume the spreads are wider and executing a trade is a joke. It seems you either get volume with high costs or high spreads and no volume.
